1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT-III
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” m ode of “HVAC” using CONSULT-III.
3. Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES >> Refer to HAC-91, "Diagnosis Procedure".
NO >> INSPECTION END

1.CHECK FRONT AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (P ASSENGER SIDE) COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check output waveform between front air mi x door motor RH harness connector and ground with the
oscilloscope.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> GO TO 3.
2.CHECK INSTALLATION OF FRONT AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (PASSENGER SIDE)
Check front air mix door motor (passenger side) is properly installed. Refer to HAC-152, "
Exploded View".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace front air mix door motor (passenger side). Refer to HAC-153, "AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR :
Removal and Installation".

If DTC is displayed along with DTC U1000, first per form the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000. Refer to HAC-

"DTC Logic".
Sunload sensor may register a malfunction when indoors, at dusk, or at other times when light is insufficient.
When performing the diagnosis indoors, use a lamp (60 W or more) that is pointed at the sunload sensor.

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between sunload sensor harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
