• The pedal adjusting motor is installed to the pedal assembly.
• The pedal adjusting motor is activated with the automatic drive positioner control unit.
• The pedal assembly is adjusted forward/backward by changing the rotation direction of pedal adjusting
motor.

1. CHECK FUNCTION
1. Select “ADJ PEDAL MOTOR” in “Active test” mode with CONSULT-III.
2. Check the pedal adjusting motor operation.
Is the operation of relevant parts normal?
YES >> Inspection End.
NO >> Perform diagnosis procedure. Refer to ADP-107, "
DiagnosisProcedure".

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to ADP-138, "Wiring Diagram".
1. CHECK PEDAL ADJUSTING MOTOR POWER SUPPLY
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Perform “Active test” (“ADJ PEDAL MOTOR”) with CONSULT-lll.
3. Check voltage between automatic drive positioner control unit
harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace pedal adjusting motor assembly. Refer to ADP-178, "Removal and Installation".
NO >> GO TO 2

1. CHECK DOOR MIRROR MOTOR INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between door mirror connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Refer to A D P - 111 , "Component Inspection".
NO >> GO TO 2
2. CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit and door mir- ror.
3. Check continuity between automat ic drive positioner control unit
connector and door mirror connector.

• The seat memory switch is installed on the driver side door trim. The operation signal is inputted to the auto-
matic drive positioner control unit when the memory switch is operated.
• The status of automatic drive positioner system can be checked according to the illuminating/flashing status.

1. Select “MEMORY SW INDCTR” in “A ctive test” mode with CONSULT-III.
2. Check the memory indicator operation.

YES >> Inspection End.

DiagnosisProcedure".

1. CHECK SEAT MEMORY INDICATOR CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit and seat memory switch.
3. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and seat memory switch harness connector.
4. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
