X Pull over and stop the vehicle safely as soon as possible, paying
attention to road and traffic conditions. Do not continue driving
under any circumstances.

X Observe the additional messages in the multi-function display
(Y page 208).
Do not top up the brake fluid. This will not rectify the fault. 00AE
The red coolant
warning lamp
lights up while
the engine is
running and the
coolant temper-
ature gauge is at
the start of the
scale. The temperature sensor for the coolant temperature gauge is
faulty.
The coolant temperature is no longer being monitored. There is a
risk of engine damage if the coolant temperature is too high.

Pull over and stop the vehicle safely and switch off the engine,
paying attention to road and traffic conditions. Do not continue
driving under any circumstances.

overview)
The 24 GHz rada rsensor system requires
separate approva lfor each country .When
yo ua redriving in acountry in which the radar
sensor system is not approved ,you must
deactivate the system using the on-board
compute r(Ypage 120) .The current country
overview can be obtained fro maMercedes-
Benz Service Centre. The rada
rsensor system is automatically
deactivated nea rradio telescop efacilities .If
Distroni cPlus* or PRE-SAFE ®
Brake* are
activated at thi spoint, acorresponding warn-
ing will appear in the multi-functio ndisplay to
tel lyou tha tthe rada rsen sor system is being
switched off .BAS PLUS* is also no longer
available. If the deactivatio ndoesn ot occur
automatically, yo umustd eactivate the radar
sensor system using the on-board computer
