3. According to the trouble diagnosis chart by symptom, repair or replace the cause of the malfunction.
Refer to BL-37, "

4. Does power door lock system operate normally? YES: GO TO 5.
NO: GO TO 3.

2.CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect BCM connectors.
3. Check voltage between BCM connectors M4 terminals 42, 55 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 3.
NG >> Repair or replace BCM power supply circuit.
3.CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between BCM connectors M4 terminals 49, 52 and
ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Power supply and ground circuit are OK.
NG >> Repair or replace BCM ground circuit.

Harness for open or short between BCM and key switch

CONSULT-III.
When door lock and unlock switch is turned to LOCK:

Without CONSULT-III
1. Remove key from ignition key cylinder.
2. Check the signal between BCM connector M3 terminal 22 and ground with oscilloscope when door lock and unlock switch is turned “LOCK” or “UNLOCK”.
3. Make sure signals which are shown in the figure below can be detected during 10 second just after door lock and unlock switch
is turned “LOCK” or “UNLOCK”.
OK or NG
OK >> Door lock and unlock switch circuit is OK.
NG >> GO TO 2.

2.CHECK POWER WINDOW SERIAL LINK CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect BCM, power window main switch and front power window switch connectors.
3. Check continuity between BCM connector M3 terminal 22 and power window main switch (door lock and unlock switch) con-
nector D6 terminal 14.
4. Check continuity between power window main switch (door lock and unlock switch) connector D6 terminal 14 and ground.
5. Check continuity between BCM connector M3 terminal 22 and front power window switch (door lock and unlock switch) con-
nector D36 terminal 16.
6. Check continuity between front power window switch (door lock and unlock switch) connector D36 terminal 16 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 3.
NG >> Repair or replace harness.
3.CHECK DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH GROUND HARNESS
Check continuity between power window main switch (door lock and unlock switch) connector D7 terminal 17 and ground.
