youshould,ifpossible,usethesameoilbrandifitbecomesnecessarytotopupbetweenoilchanges.
Porscheengineshavelongintervalsbetweenoilchanges.Youcanmakebestuseoftheselongoilchangeintervalsbyusingmultigradeoilssincethesearelargelyindependentofseasonalfluctuationsintemperature.
Ifyourvehicleisusedfrequentlyinstop-and-gotrafficincoldweather,theenginewillnotalwaysbecompletelywarmedup.Condensationfromproductsofcombustionmayaccumulateintheoil.Inthiscase,itisadvisabletochangetheoilmorefrequentlysothatyourengineonceagainhas100%efficientoil.

Fueleconomywillvarydependingonwhere,whenandhowyoudrive,optionalequipmentinstalled,andthegeneralconditionofyourcar.Acartunedtospecicationsandcorrect-lymaintained,willhelpyoutoachieveoptimalfueleconomy.
Haveyourvehicletunedtospecifications.Aircleanershouldbedirtfreetoallowproperengine“breathing”.Batteryshouldbefullycharged.Wheelsshouldbeproperlyaligned.Tiresshouldbeinflatedtothecorrectpres-sure.
Alwaysmonitoryourfuelconsumption.
Drivesmoothly,avoidabruptchangesinspeedasmuchaspossible.
Avoidjackrabbitstartsandsuddenstops.
Donotdrivelongerthannecessaryinthelowergears.Shiftingintoahighergearearlywithoutluggingtheenginewillhelpsavefuel.

4.Donotaddfurtherfueloncethecorrectlyoperatedautomaticfuel-hosenozzlehasswitchedoff.Fuelcouldsprayorcouldrunoverinwarmtemperatures.
5.Replacethetankcapimmediatelyafterrefuelingandturnituntilyouhearitandfeelitengage.
Ifyoulosethetankcap,youmustreplaceitonlywithanoriginalparttoreducethepossibilityofareintheeventofacollision.

TheuseofUNLEADEDFUELONLYiscriticallyimportanttothelifeofthecatalyticconvert-ers.Depositsfromleadedfuelswillruintheconvertersandmakeitineffectiveasanemis-sioncontroldevice.
