Automaticloweringofthedoorwindows
Ifthedoorwindowsareclosed,theywillbeautomaticallyopenedbyafewmillimeterswhenthedoorsareopenedand,whenthedoorsareclosed,theywillbeclosedagain.Thismakesiteasiertoopenandclosethedoorsandprotectstheseals.
Therefore,youshouldpullthedoorhandleslowlysothatthedoorwindowcanbeloweredbeforethedoorisopened.

Unlockvehiclewiththeremotecontrol.
PulldoorhandleAslowlysothatthedoorwindowcanbeloweredbeforethedoorisopened.

Unlockingthevehiclebyusingthekeyinthedoorlockandopeningthedoormayactivatethealarmsystemwithin10seconds.

Thepassengercompartmentmonitoringsystemisalwaysswitchedoffwhentheconvertibletopisopen.
Switchingoffthealarmsystemifitis
triggeredaccidentally
Unlockthevehiclewiththeremotecontrol.
Thealarmsystemandpassengercompartmentmonitoringsystemareswitchedoffautomaticallywhenthedoorsareunlocked.
Functionindication
Ifthealarmsystemisactivated,light-emittingdiodeAonthedashboardflashes.
If,afterlocking,thelight-emittingdiodedoesnotflashor,aftertenseconds,itemitsdoubleflashes,thennotallalarmcontactsareclosed.Additionally,abriefhornsignalsounds.
Whenthedoorsareunlocked,thealarmsystemandpassengercompartmentmonitoringsystemareswitchedoffandthelight-emittingdiodegoesoff.
Whenthealarmisarmed,thefollowing
areasaremonitored
–Doors
–Frontandrearlids
–Convertible-toplock
–Glovecompartment
–Passengercompartment
Ifoneofthesealarmcontactsisinterrupted,thealarmhornsoundsforapproximately3minutes.

Additionally,theemergencyflasherandthepas-sengercompartmentlightflashforapproximatelyfourminutes.Whenthealarmistriggered,thelight-emittingdiodechangesovertodoubleflash-es.
Inordernottolimittheactionrangeofthepassen-gercompartmentmonitoringsystem:
Donotfoldthebackrestsforward.
Deactivatingthepassengercompartment
monitoringsystemforonelockingprocess
Ifapersonoranimalremainsinthecarwhileitislocked,thepassengercompartmentmonitoringsystemmustbeswitchedoff.
Quicklylockcartwice.Thedoorsarelockedbutcanbeopenedfromtheinside:
1.Pullinnerdoorhandleoncetounlockdoorlock.
2.Pullinnerdoorhandleagaintoopendoor.
Note
Informanypersonremaininginthecarthatthealarmsystemwillbetriggeredifthedoorisopened.
Faultindication
Adoublehornsignalduringlockingindicatesadefectinthecentrallockingoralarmsystem.
HavethedefectremediedatanauthorizedPorschedealer.

Readinessforoperationofpowerwindows
–Whentheignitionisswitchedon(engineswitchedonoroff)or
–withdoorsclosedandignitionkeywithdrawn,butonlyuntildoorisfirstopened.One-touchoperationforclosingthedoorwindowsisavailableonlywhentheignitionisswitchedon.
Warning!
Riskofanaccident.
Donotputanythingonornearthewindowsthatmayinterferewiththedriver’svision.
Warning!
Riskofinjurywhenthedoorwindowsclose.Thisappliesespeciallyifthewindowsareclosedwiththeone-touchoperation,becausewiththisfunctionthewindowgoesupauto-matically.
Makesurethatfingers,hands,armsandotherbodypartsarenotinthewaywhenthewindowsareclosed.
Removetheignitionkeytoshutoffpowertothewindowswitcheswhenthevehicleisnotattendedbyaresponsibleperson.Uniformedpersonscouldinjurethemselvesbyoperatingthepowerwindows.
Donotleavechildreninthecarunattended.

Thetworockerswitchesinthedriver’sdoorandtheswitchinthepassenger’sdoorhaveatwo-stagefunction.
Openingwindowwiththerockerswitch
Presstherockerswitchdowntothefirststageuntilthewindowhasreachedthedesiredposition.
Closingwindowwiththerockerswitch
Presstherockerswitchupwardstothefirststageuntilthewindowhasreachedthedesiredposition.
One-touchoperation
Presstherockerswitchupwardsordown-wardstothesecondstage.Windowmovestoitsfinalposition.Pressagaintostopthewin-dowinthedesiredposition.
One-touchoperationforclosingthepassenger’swindowisavailableoncethewindowisapproxi-matelyhalf-wayclosed.
Anti-crushingprotection
Ifthedoorwindowisblockedduringclosing,itwillstopandopenagainbyaboutaninch.

Warning!
Riskofseriouspersonalinjuries.Iftherockerswitch“A”ispressedagainwithin10secondsofthewindowbeingblocked,thewindowwillclosewithitsfullclosingforce.Anti-crushingprotectionisdisabled.
Oncetheanti-crushingprotectionactstostopthewindowandopensitslightly,donotpresstherockerswitchagainwithin10secondswithoutcheckingtomakesurethatnothingisblockingthepathofthewindow.Thewindowwillclosewithfullclosingforce.
One-touchoperationisdisabledfor10secondsafterblockageofasidewindow.

2.Presstherockerswitchupwardsagaintostoretheendpositionofthewindowsinthecontrolunit.

Adjusting
1.Switchonignition.
2.ByturningthecontrolswitchA,selectthedriver’ssideorthepassenger’sside.
3.Movethedoormirrorglassesintheappropri-atedirectionbytiltingthecontrolswitch.
Iftheelectricaladjustmentfacilityfails
Adjustmirrorbypressingonthemirrorface.

1.Pushmirrortowardsthedoorwindowandcontinuetoholdit(highspringforce).
2.Swivelthelockingleveruptothestopandslowlyletgoofthemirror.
Unfoldingdoormirrors
1.Pushmirrortowardsthedoorwindowandcontinuetoholdit(highspringforce).Thelockingleverdisengagesautomatically.
2.Movemirrorbacktounfoldedpositionbyhand.Donotletgoofthemirrorbeforehand.

Sensorsonthefrontandrearsidesoftheinteriormirrormeasuretheincidentlight.Themirrorsautomaticallychangetoanti-glarepositionorreverttotheirnormalstate,dependingonthelightintensity.Whenreversegearisselected,automaticanti-glareoperationisswitchedoff.
