This indicator reminds you that the
bed lights are on. With the shif t lever
in the Park position, they come on
when you push the light switch on
the dashboard, swing open the
tailgate, or open the In-Bed Trunk.This indicator reminds you that the
In-Bed Trunk is open. If you do not
close it, the indicator stays on for
about3minutes. See page f or
more inf ormation.
This indicator reminds you that the
back window is not completely
closed when you turn the ignition
switch f rom ON (II) to ACCESSORY
(I) or LOCK (0). With the ignition
switch in the ACCESSORY (I)
position, it goes of f af ter about 30
seconds. With the ignition switch in
the LOCK (0) position, it goes of f
af ter about 3 minutes.
If you remove the ignition key and
open the driver’s door without
closing the back window, you will
hear f ive beeps and see the indicator
blink. If you do not close the back
window bef ore the beeper stops, the
indicator stops blinking but remains
on. It will go of f af ter about 3
minutes. See page f or more
inf ormation.
If you turn the ignition switch to
ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0)

To lock any passenger’s door when
getting out of the vehicle, push the
lock tab down, and close the door.
To lock the driver’s door, remove the
key f rom the ignition switch, and
push the lock tab down, or push the
f ront of the master switch, then
close the door.
With the driver’s door open and the
key in the ignition, both master door
lock switches are disabled. They are
not disabled if the driver’s door is
closed. Pushing the f ront of the
switch on the open passenger’s door
will lock all doors and the In-Bed
Trunk.
The lock tab on each door locks and
unlocks that door. Pulling up on the
driver’s door lock tab only unlocks
the driver’s door. To unlock the
driver’s door f rom the outside, turn
the key and release it. If you turn it
again, unlock all doors and the
In-Bed Trunk.
Youcanopenorclosetheside
windows by using the key in the
driver’s door (see page ).
To lock all doors and the In-Bed
Trunk, push the f ront of the master
door lock switch on either f ront door,
pressthelocktabdownonthe
driver’s door, or use the key on the
outside lock on the driver’s door. This vehicle has auto door locking/ unlocking f eatures. See page f or
how to set them.
Pushing the rear of either master

Press this button once
to unlock the driver’s door. Push it
twice to unlock the other doors and
the In-Bed Trunk.
Some exterior and interior lights will
f lash twice each time you push the
button.
When you press the UNLOCK
button, the f ront and rear individual
map lights, depending on the interior
light control switch position, will
come on (see page ). If you do not
open any door, the lights stay on f or
about 30 seconds, then go out. If you
relock the doors and the In-Bed
Trunk with the remote transmitter
bef ore 30 seconds have elapsed, the
lights will go of f immediately.
Press this button once to
lock all doors and the In-Bed Trunk.
Some exterior and interior lights will
flash once.
When you push LOCK twice within 5
seconds, you will hear a beep to
verify that the doors and In-Bed
Trunk are locked and the security
system (if equipped) has set. This
button does not work if any door is
not f ully closed or the key is in the
ignition switch. Press and hold this
button for about 1 second to attract
attention; the horn will sound and
the exterior lights will f lash f or about
30 seconds. To cancel panic mode,
press any other button on the remote
transmitter, or turn the ignition
switch to ON (II). Panic mode does
not work when the key is in the
ignition switch. If you do not open any door within 30
seconds, the doors automatically
relock, and the security system sets
(if equipped). The UNLOCK button
does not work when the key is in the
ignition switch.
You can also open all side windows
f rom outside the vehicle with the
remote transmitter (see page ).

open the window, push the switch
downandholdit.Releasetheswitch
when you want the window to stop.
Pull back on the switch and hold it to
close the window. Thewindowsoperateforupto10
minutes after you turn off the
ignition switch. Opening either f ront
door cancels this f unction.
To open or close the
driver’s window, push or pull the
window switch firmly down or up to
the second detent, and release it.
The window will automatically go up
or down all the way. To stop the
window, pull or push on the window
switch brief ly.
When you push the MAIN switch in,
the passenger windows and the back
window cannot be raised or lowered.
To cancel this f eature, push on the
switch again. Keep the MAIN switch
off whenyouhavechildreninthe
vehicle so they do not injure
themselves by operating the
windows unintentionally.

µIf the driver’s
window senses any obstacle while it
is closing automatically, it will
reverse direction and then stop. To
close the window, remove the
obstacle, then use the window switch
again.
Auto reverse stops sensing when the
window is almost closed. You should
always check that all passengers and
objects are away from the window
bef ore closing it. Your vehicle has a power back
window.
This indicator comes on when you
turn the ignition switch from ON (II)
to ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0)
without closing the back window.
With the ignition switch in the
ACCESSORY (I) position, the
indicator goes of f af ter about 30
seconds. With the ignition switch in
the LOCK (0) position, the indicator
goes of f af ter about 3 minutes.
If the driver’s window f use is
removed, the AUTO f unction may be
disabled. The power window system
needs to be reset af ter reinstalling
the fuse.
Start the engine. Push down and
hold the driver’s window switch
until the window is f ully open.
Pull and hold the driver’s window
switch to close the window
completely, then hold the switch
f or a second or two more.
If the power windows do not operate
properly af ter resetting, have your

To open:Insert the key in the driver’s door
lock.
Turn the key clockwise, then
release it.
You can open all of the side windows
from the outside with the remote
transmitter.
Press the UNLOCK button once
to unlock the driver’s door.
Press the UNLOCK button a
second time, and hold it. The
passenger’s doors unlock, and all
f our side windows start to open.
To stop the windows, release the
button. You can open and close the side
windows with the key in the driver’s
door lock.
The back window is not designed to
carry long items through it. Do not
use the opened back window as a
cargo area pass-through. If you remove the ignition key and
open the driver’s door without
closing the back window, you hear
f ive beeps and see the indicator blink.

Make sure you put the sun visor
back in place when you are getting
into or out of the vehicle. To use the sun visor, pull it down.
Whenusingthesunvisorforthe
side window, remove the support rod
f rom the clip, and swing it out.
In this position, the sun visor can be
adjusted by moving it on its slider.
Do not use the extended sun visor
over the inside mirror. The light will not come on if the sunvisor is slid outward. The light comes on when you pull up
the cover. Pull up the vanity mirror cover to use
it.
