Remove the electrical connector
f rom the bulb by squeezing the
connector to unlock the tab, then
slide the connector of f the bulb.
Remove the bulb by turning it
approximately one-quarter turn
counterclockwise.
Install the new bulb, and turn it
one-quarter turn clockwise to lock
it in place.Reinstall the air intake cover.
Reinstall the two fasteners and
secure them by pushing on the
heads until they lock. (Driver’s side) Turn on the headlights to test the
new bulb. Push the electrical connector back
onto the bulb. Make sure it is on
all the way.

steering wheel all the way to the
lef t, and turn of f the engine. To
change the driver’s side bulb, turn

Use a f lat-tipped screwdriver to
remove the two holding clips f rom
the inner f ender. Pull the inner f ender cover away
f rom the f ender and bumper.
To change the low beam headlight
bulb on the driver’s side, remove
the air intake duct. You can reach
the air intake duct f rom the back
side of the inner f ender.

Pull the inner f ender cover away
f rom the f ender and bumper.
Remove the socket from the
headlight assembly by turning it
one-quarter turn counterclockwise.
Install the new bulb, and turn it
one-quarter turn clockwise to lock
it in place.
Push the electrical connector back
onto the bulb. Make sure it is on
all the way.
Turn on the headlights to test the
new bulb.
Reinstall the air intake duct
securely. (Driver’s side)
Put the inner f ender cover in place.

Remove the burned out bulb f rom
thesocketbypushingitinand
turning the bulb counterclockwise
until it unlocks.
Install the new bulb in the socket.
Turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
Insert the socket back into the
headlight assembly. Turn it
clockwise to lock it in place.
Turn on the lights to make sure
the new bulb is working.
Put the inner f ender cover in place.
Install and lock each holding clip
bypushingonthecenter.Open the trunk.
Remove the light assembly cover
by pulling its outside edge.Determine which bulb is burned
out: turn signal or back-up light.
Remove the socket by turning it
one-quarter turn counterclockwise.
Pull the bulb straight out of its
socket. Push the new bulb straight
into the socket until it bottoms.
Reinstall the socket into the light
assembly by turning it clockwise
until it locks.
Turn on the lights to make sure
the new bulb is working.
Install the light assembly cover.
Make sure it snaps into place.

Dirt build-up in the loops of the seat
belt anchors can cause the belts to
retract slowly. Wipe the insides of
the loops with a clean cloth
dampened in mild soap and warm
water or isopropyl alcohol.
If your seat belts get dirty, use a sof t
brush with a mixture of mild soap
and warm water to clean them. Do
not use bleach, dye, or cleaning
solvents. Let the belts air dry bef ore
you use the vehicle. The driver’s and the right-rear
passenger’s f loor mats that came
with your vehicle hook over the f loor
mat anchors. This keeps the f loor
mat f rom sliding f orward and
possibly interf ering with the pedals
or making the f ront passenger’s
weight sensors inef f ective.

This f ilter removes the dust and
pollenthatisbroughtinfromthe
outside through the heating and
cooling system/climate control
system.Check the condition of the wiper
blades at least every 6 months.
Replace them if you f ind signs of
cracking in the rubber, areas that are
getting hard, or if they leave streaks
and unwiped areas when used.
If you remove the f loor mats, make
sure to re-anchor them when you put
them back in your vehicle.
If you use non-Honda f loor mats,
make sure they f it properly and that
theycanbeusedwiththefloormat
anchors. Do not put additional f loor
mats on top of an anchored mat.
Make sure the right-rear f loor mat is
properly hooked to the f loor mat
anchor. Your vehicle is equipped
with f ront passenger’s seat weight
sensors. If the right-rear passenger’s
f loor mat is on the seat rail of the
f ront passenger’s seat, the sensors
will detect the decreased weight on
the seat and they may not work
properly. Have your dealer replace the filter
when this service is indicated by a
maintenance message on the
inf ormation display. It should be
replaced every 15,000 miles (24,000
km) if you drive primarily in urban
areas that have high concentrations
of soot in the air f rom industry and
diesel-powered vehicles. Replace it
more of ten if airf low f rom the
heating and cooling system/climate
control system becomes less than
usual. Have the dust and pollen f ilter

To replace a wiper blade:Raise the wiper arm of f the
windshield. Raise the driver’s side
first, then the passenger’s side. Disconnect the blade assembly
fromthewiperarmbypushingin
the lock tab. Hold the lock tab in
while you push the blade assembly
toward the base of the arm.Remove the blade f rom its holder
by grasping the tabbed end of the
blade. Pull f irmly until the tabs
come out of the holder.

Examine the new wiper blades. If
they have no plastic or metal
reinf orcement along the back
edge, remove the metal
reinf orcement strips f rom the old
wiper blade, and install them in
the slots along the edge of the new
blade.Slide the new wiper blade into the
holder until the tabs lock.
Slide the wiper blade assembly
onto the wiper arm. Make sure it
locks in place.
Lower the wiper arm down against
the windshield, the passenger’s
side first, then the driver’s side.
To saf ely operate your vehicle, your
tires must be the proper type and
size, in good condition with adequate
tread, and correctly inf lated.

care of your tires and what to do
