FILLING WITH FUEL
The fuel filler flap is electric, you can only open it by pressing button A.
Button A is deactivated automati-cally from 6 mph (10 km/h).
When filling with fuel, the engine must be switched off with the ignition off:
Operating fault
A fuel gauge fault is indicated by the fuel level indicator needle returning to zero.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Fuel warning
 Turn the cap to the left.
 Remove the cap and hang the end on the hook located on the inside of the flap.
A label affixed to the inside of the fuel filler flap indicates which type of fuel to use.
When you fill your tank, do not con-tinue after the third cut-off of the pump. This could cause your vehicle to mal-function.
The capacity of the tank is approx-imately 67 litres.
 After filling the tank, screw on the cap and close the fuel filler flap.
Ensure that the fuel filler flap is closed correctly.
When this warning light comes on in certain driving conditions and depending on the engine, the distance which can be travelled with the fuel remaining may be less than 30 miles (50 kilometres).
Note: should you run out of fuel, you must add at least 6 litres.

LIGHTS STALK
Front and rear lights (ring A)

With the ignition and the automatic lights function switched off, on open-ing the driver’s door a buzzer sounds to warn you that you have left your lights on.
Front and rear fog lamps (ring B)
 Turn ring B forwards to switch on and backwards to switch off.The position is confirmed by the light on the instrument panel.
Front fog lamps (one press)
These operate with the side lights,dipped headlamps or main beam headlamps.
Rear fog lamps (two presses)
These operate with the side lightsand the front fog lamps, or with the dipped or main beam headlamps.
Left: downwards.
Right: upwards.
Direction indicators (flashers)
If you forget to return the di-rection indicator to its normal position, the volume of the au-dible signal will increase, if you are driving at a speed greater than 45 mph (70 km/h).
Parking lights*
The side lights are lit on the side the traffic is on for a few hours.
With the engine switched off and with-in 45 seconds maximum, place the in-dicator lights stalk on the traffic side (for example: for parking on the right; switching on of the lights on the left). This is indicated by an audible sig-nal and lighting of the corresponding direction indicator on the instrument panel for a few seconds.
If the parking lights are activa-ted when your vehicle switches to economy mode, they will re-main on. However, you cannot activate the parking lights if your vehi-cle is already in economy mode.
Dipped/main beam change
 Pull the stalk fully towards you.

Automatic switching on of the lights
Side lights and dipped beam head-lamps switch on automatically if the light is poor, or during operation of the windscreen wipers. They switch off as soon as the light becomes bright enough or the windscreen wipers stop.
To switch the function on or off, use the multifunction display "Personalisation-Configuration" menu.
Activation
Deactivation
When this function is activa-ted, the indicator light on the instrument panel comes on.
When the function is deacti-vated, the indicator light on the instrument panel comes on.
Cancellation:
 flash the headlamps,
 get out of the vehicle and lock it.
Manual "follow-me-home" lighting
If the automatic switching on of the lights is not activated, the manual "follow-me-home" lighting can be activated.
When you leave your vehicle, the side lights and dipped headlamps remain on for approximately 1 minute.
Activation:
 switch off the engine,
 flash the headlamps,
 get out of the vehicle and lock it.
Deactivation:
 flash the headlamps again,
 get out of the vehicle and lock it.
Automatic "follow-me-home" lighting
When you leave your vehicle with the automatic switching on of the lights activated, the side lights and dipped headlamps remain on for the duration selected when the ignition is switched off.
To activate or deactivate this func-tion, pass via the multifunction display " P e r s o n a l i s a t i o n - C o n fi g u r a t i o n "menu.
Note: in foggy weather, the brightness sensor can de-tect sufficient light. As a con-sequence, the lights will not come on automatically.
This function is active when the vehi-cle is suppliedto the customer.
If the brightness sensor does not function correctly, if the system is activated, the dipped headlamps and the side lights come on.
This indicator light comes on on the instrument panel dis-play, accompanied by an au-dible signal and a message on the multifunction display.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have the system checked.
Daytime lights*
On vehicles which are equipped with daytime lights, the dipped headlamps come on when the vehicle is started.
The instruments and controls (instrument panel, multifunc-tion display, air conditioning control panel, ...) are only lit on switching to the automatic switch-ing on of the lights mode or when the lights are switched on manually.

AUTOMATIC HEADLAMP
ADJUSTMENT
When stationary and when the vehicle is moving,the systemautomatically corrects the height of the beam, whatever the load of the vehicle. The driver is then assured of having optimum lighting and not causing a nuisance to other road users.
DIRECTIONAL HEADLAMPS
Activation/Deactivation
When the dipped or main beam head-lamps are on, this function enables the light beam to follow the direction of the road.
The quality of your lighting when turn-ing is improved considerably.
In cases of malfunction, the warning light comes on on the instrument panel dis-play, accompanied by an au-dible signal and a message on the multifunction display. The sys-tem places your headlamps to the low position.
Do not touch the xenon bulbs. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Function activated
Function deactivated
To deactivate or acti-vate the function, go to the "Personalisation-Configuration" menu on your multifunctiondisplay.
When the engine is switched on, the status of activation/deactivation of this function selected when the engine was switched off is retained.
By default, this function is activated.
Note: when stationary or driv-ing at very low speed, or in reverse gear, this function is inactive.
In the event of a malfunction,the warning light flashes on the instrument panel screen, accompanied by a message on the multifunction display.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
On vehicles fitted with daytime lights, the function is only acti-vated if the lights stalk is in the dipped/main beam headlamps position.
On starting, with the engine running, the headlamps initial-ise automatically and perform a vertical sweep.

WINDSCREEN
WIPER STALK
Windscreen wipers
2 Fast wipe (heavy rain).
1 Normal wipe (moderate rain).
I Intermittent wipe
0 Off
AUTO Automatic wipe or single sweep.
In the Intermittent position, the wiping speed is in proportion to the speed of the vehicle.
In AUTO mode, the wiping speed is in proportion to the intensity of the rain-fall.
Automatic windscreen wiper
The automatic wiping is controlled by a rain sensor, fitted on the windscreen.
In AUTO mode, the wipers operate automatically and adjust their speed to the intensity of the rainfall.
Activation
Deactivation
This warning light comes on on the instrument panel, ac-companied by a message on the multifunction display, when the driver presses the wipers stalk down in AUTO mode.
This warning light comes on on the instrument panel, ac-companied by a message on the multifunction display, when the driver moves the wipers stalk to position I,1 or 2.
In the event of a malfunction, the driver is informed of this by a message on the multifunction display.
In AUTO mode, the wipers will then operate in intermittent mode.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer to have the system checked.
Do not cover the rain sensor, located on the windscreen be-hind the interior mirror.
When using a car wash, switch off the ignition.
In winter, it is advisable to wait until the windscreen is completely clear of ice before activating the automatic wipers.
When parking in snowy weather, po-sition the blades at the top of the windscreen (maintenance position) toprevent the accumulation of snow.The wiping must be reacti-vated if the ignition has been switched off for more than one minute.

Maintenance position
This position enables the wiper blades to be removed.
In the minute following switching off of the ignition, any action on the wipers stalk positions the wipers at the top of the windscreen (parking in winter, cleaning, replacement of the blades).
To reposition the wipers after this has been done, switch on the ignition and operate the stalk.
Windscreen and headlamp wash
Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-wards you. The windscreen wash then the windscreen wipers operate for a fixed period.
If the headlamps are on, the wind-screen wash and the headlamp wash operate at the same time.
Screenwash/headlampwash low
When the minimum level of the reservoir is reached, this warning light comes on, ac-companied by an audible signal and a message on the multi-function display.
Next time you stop, fill the screenwash/headlamp wash reservoir.
The warning light comes on each time the stalk is operated, until the reser-voir is filled.
