The power windows operate when the ignition key is in the "ON" position. The main switches are located on thedriver's armrest and control the front and rear windows on both sides of the vehicle. The windows may be openedby depressing the appropriate window switch and closed by pulling up the switch. To open the window on thedriver's side, press the switch(1) down. In order to prevent operation of the passenger front and rear windows, awindow lock switch is provided on the armrest of the driver's door. To disable the power windows, press the windowlock switch. To return to normal operation, press the window lock switch a second time. HFC2013

WARNING:
1) Be careful that someone's head, hands and body are not trapped by a closing window.
2) Never try to operate the main switch on the driver's door andthe individual door window switch in opposing directions atthe same time. If this is done, the window will stop and cannot be opened or closed.

WARNING:
Never attempt to adjust the seat while the vehicle is moving. This could result in loss of control, or an accident which may cause death,serious injury, or property damage.
To move the seat toward the front orrear, pull the lock release lever up- ward. This will release the seat on its track so you can move it forward orrearward to the desired position. When you find the position you want, release the lever and slide the seat forward orrearward on its track until it locks into the desired position and cannot be moved further.
Auto-Down Window (Driver's Side) The Auto-Down window is moved to its fully open position by pushing theswitch. To stop at the desired loction, the switch must be pulled up.

To minimize risk of severe injury in the event of a collision or a sudden stop, both the driver and passen-ger seatbacks should always be in an upright position while the ve- hicle is in motion. The protectionprovided by the seat belts and airbags in a frontal collision may be reduced significantly when the seatbacks are reclined. There is greater risk that the driver and pas-senger will slide under the seat belt which may result in serious injury if a crash occurs when the seatbacksare reclined. The seat belt cannot provide full protection to an occu- pant if the seat back is reclined.

position.
2. Remove the headrests.
3. To fold down the seatback , push and hold the seatback folding levertoward the headrest, then push downthe seatback.

o When you return the folded down seat back to its upright position, make sure the seat belts are in position to be accessible and tofunction properly.
o The purpose of the fold down
rear seat back and the fold for-ward rear seat cushion is to in- crease cargo space. Do not allow passengers to sit in the cargoarea while the car is moving. This is not a proper seating position and no seat belts are available for use when the seat back is folded down. Passengers whoare not properly seated and wear- ing seat belts could sustain seri- ous injuries or death in case ofan accident or a sudden stop.
o Objects should not extend higher
than the top of the frontseatbacks. This could allow cargo to slide forward and cause injury or damage during sudden stops.
CAUTION:
To prevent damage, ensure that therear drinkholder, located in the rearconsole, is closed before folding the rear seatback and seat cushion. 5. To secure the seat, hook the secur-
ing strap under the seat cushion tothe headrest stay of front driver and passenger seat.
6. Insert the removed headrests be-
tween the seatback and seat cush-ion, so that they will not be thrown forward in the case of a sudden stop or an accident.
7. To return the seatback and seat cushion to its normal position, re-verse the above procedure.
o When you return the seatback to its upright position, always be sure it islocked into position by pulling and pushing on the top of seatback.

There will be an au-dible "click" when the tab locks into the buckle. The seat belt automatically adjusts tothe proper length only after the lap belt is adjusted manually so that it fits snugly around your hips. To adjust the height of the seat belt anchor, lower or raise the height ad-juster into an appropriate position. To raise the height adjuster, pull it up. To lower it, push it down while pressingthe height adjuster button. Release the button to lock the anchor into position. Try sliding the heightadjuster to make sure that it has locked into the position.
WARNING:
o The height adjuster must be in the locked position when thevehicle is moving.
o The misadjustment of height of
the shoulder belt could reducethe effectiveness of the seat belt in a crash.
To fasten your seat belt, pull it out ofthe retractor and insert the metal tab into the buckle. There will be an au- dible "click" when the tab locks into thebuckle.

The seat belt automatically adjusts to the proper length only after the lap beltis adjusted manually so that it fits snugly around your hips.
