FILLING WITH FUEL
This operation must be carried
out with the engine switched
off.
F Open the fuel iller lap by
pressing the front of it.
F Insert the key then turn it to the
left.
F Remove the cap and hook it
onto the hook on the inside of
the lap.
An indication on the cap shows
which type of fuel to use.
When you ill your tank, do not
continue after the third cut-off
of the pump. This could cause a
malfunction. The capacity of the tank is
approximately 70 litres.
F
After illing the tank, lock the
cap and close the lap.
OPENING THE BONNET
Inside the vehicle: Push the
control on the right-hand side,
under the fascia panel.
Outside the vehicle: Lift
the control, raise the bon-
net and secure the strut to
keep the bonnet open.
Low fuel level warning
light
From the time this
light comes on, you
have approximately
8 litres of fuel left.

Moving OffWith the engine running, to move
off from position P:
F It is essential to press the
brake pedal and control A to
exit position P,
F Select function R, D or M, then
gradually release the pressure
on the brake pedal and control
A ; the vehicle will move off
immediately.
You can also move off from
position N:
F Release the handbrake, with
your foot on the brake.
F Select function R, D or M, then
gradually release the pressure
on the brake pedal; the vehicle

GEARBOX
The four-speed automatic gear-
box offers a choice between the
comfort of automatic integral
regulation enhanced by a snow
programme , or the pleasure of
manual gear changing.
Gear selection gate
F Move the lever in the gate to
select one of the functions.
Once the function is selected, the
indicator light for that function is
displayed on the instrument panel
screen.
W: snow programme.
Park: to immobilise the vehicle
or to start the engine, with the
handbrake on or off.
Reverse: to reverse (select
this function with the vehicle
stationary and the engine at idle).
Neutral: to start the engine or to
park , with the handbrake on.
Note: if position N is engaged by
mistake while the car is moving,
allow the engine to return to idling
speed before engaging function
D to accelerate.
Drive: for automatic gear
changing. M anual: for manual gear
changing.
To change the four gears
manually:
F Push the lever to the + symbol
to change up a gear and pull
the lever towards the - symbol
to change down a gear.
Note: the W (snow) programme
does not operate when in manual
mode. When the engine is
idling with the brakes not
applied, if function
R, D or
M is selected, the vehicle
moves without the accelerator
being pressed.
For this reason, do
not leave children
unsupervised inside the
vehicle, with the engine
running.

INTERIOR FITTINGS
1. STORAGE COMPARTMENTS IN
THE DOORS

2. GRAB HANDLE
This is positioned for the centre
front passenger.
3. SUN VISORS
The sun visors have pockets for
storing documents.
4. WRITING TABLE (Folding)
The table is in the centre of the
fascia panel.
Lift the table D at the clip F to
open it.
The clip F secures documents.
To fold the table D, press the cen-
tre of bar E and fold the table.
Note: the writing table is ixed if
your vehicle is itted with a pas-
senger air bag. 10. TABLE (2
-seat bench seat)
The table is in the seat back of
the 2-seat bench seat.
Pull the handle at the top of the
seat back to fold the table.
It has:
- a document clip,
- a pen holder,
- two can holders.
5. GLOVE BOX
This has a lock.
To open the glove box, lift the
handle.
6. LIGHTER

Pull the cover to open the ash-
tray.
To empty it, after opening, re-
move it by pulling upwards.
8. 12 VOLT ACCESSORIES
SOCKET
This is at the bottom of the centre
console.

MULTI-FUNCTION DISPLAYS
These two multi-function displays
are an integral part of the audio/
telephone/GPS . Therefore, they are
controlled by its control keypad and
by its steering wheel stalk.
They enable you to obtain the follow-
ing information:
- displaying of the audio sources (radio, CD),
- displaying of the telematic sys- tems (telephone, services, ... ),
- displaying of the satellite naviga- tion system (see corresponding
section),
- displaying of the trip computer (see corresponding section),
- the warning messages (e.g. "Warning, maximum speed ex-
ceeded") or information mes-
sages (e.g. "SIM card absent")
displayed temporarily. Superimposed display
In certain cases, when a function
(radio, telephone, trip computer, ...)
changes status while another func-
tion is displayed, a window opens
to inform you of the change, then
disappears.

MAIN SCREENPULL-DOWN MENU
This is the menu associated with the
application in use at the base of the
display.
Press the "MAIN/DARK" button to
display the main screen , display
the information relating to the active
source (radio, CD, telephone or navi-
gation) and gain access to the follow-
ing functions:
- Voice memory,
- Setup.
The "Voice Memory" function per-
mits management of the recorded
voice messages. You can listen to
them again or delete them.
The messages are played in se-
quence, from the oldest to the most
recent.
Deleting deletes all of the mes-
sages.
The "Setup" function permits modii-
cation of the general system parame-
ters (see
§ "General parameters").
When the menu consists of several
pages, access to the next page is by
selecting the "Other menus" func-
tion. - Following selection of a function
from the menu, the sub-menu
appears on the right-hand side
of the display .
- The values corresponding to each of the functions of the sub-menu
appear opposite on the left-hand
side of the display .
