With “LIFT RR SW-UP, LIFT RR SW-DN” on the DATA MONITOR, operate the rear lifting switch to check ON/
OFF operation.
Without CONSULT-II
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Rear lifting switch operate, check voltage between driver seat control unit connector and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Rear seat lifting switch circuit is OK.
NG >> GO TO 2.

2. CHECK REAR LIFTING SWITCH HARNESS CONTINUITY
1. Disconnect driver seat control unit connector and driver power seat switch connector.
2. Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector
B117 terminals 10, 21 and power seat switch (driver side) con-
nector B119 terminals 10, 21.
3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector
B117 terminals 10, 21 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 3.
NG >> Repair or replace harness between driver seat control unit and driver power seat switch (driver
side).
3. CHECK REAR LIFTING SWITCH
Rear lifting switch operate, check continuity between driver seat switch connector B119 terminals 21, 10 and
38.
OK or NG
OK >> Check the condition of the harness and connector.
NG >> Replace power seat switch (driver side).
Check Power Seat Switch Ground Circuit BIS00136
1. CHECK POWER SEAT SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect power seat switch connector.
3. Check continuity between power seat switch connector B119
terminal 38 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Check the condition of the harness and connector.
NG >> Repair or replace harness between power seat switch

1. CHECK FUNCTION
With CONSULT-II
Make sure when the A/T or CVT selector lever is in P position, “DETENT SW” on the DATA MONITOR
becomes ON.
Without CONSULT-II
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check voltage between drive seat control unit conductor and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Detention key switch circuit is OK.
NG >> GO TO 2.
2. CHECK DETENTION KEY SWITCH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT HARNESS
1. Key is removed form ignition key cylinder.
2. Disconnect driver seat control unit connector and A/T or CVT device (detention key switch) connector.
3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector
B117 terminal 13 and A/T or CVT device (detention key switch)
connector M62 (A/T) or M92 (CVT) terminal 6.
4. Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector
B117 terminal 13 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 3.
NG >> Repair or replace harness between driver seat control
unit and A/T or CVT device (detention key switch).

2. Disconnect seat memory switch connector.
3. Check voltage between seat memory switch connector D11 ter-
minal 5 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 4.
NG >> Repair or replace harness between fuse block (J/B) and
seat memory switch.
3. CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
1. Disconnect driver seat control unit connector.
2. Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector
B117 terminals 1, 11 and seat memory switch connector D11 ter-
minals 6, 7.
3. Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector
B117 terminals 1, 11 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 5.
NG >> Repair or replace harness between driver seat control unit and seat memory switch.
4. CHECK SEAT MEMORY SWITCH INDICATOR SIGNAL
Check voltage between driver seat control unit connector B117 ter-
minals 1, 11 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Memory indicator lamp circuit is OK.

Each seat cushion has seat heater unit.
Front heated seat is composed the following
–Heated seat relay
–Front heated seat switch
–Seat heater unit
Rear heated seat is composed the following
–Heated seat relay
–Heated seat switch
–Seat heater unit
–Heated seat control unit
Heated seat system has two operation pattern, LOW and HIGH.
NOTE:
When handling seat, be extremely careful not to scratch seat heater unit
To replace heating unit, seat trim and pad should be separated.
Do not use any organic solvent, such as thinner, benzene, alcohol, etc. to clean trims.
FRONT HEATED SEAT
When ignition switch is ON or START, heated seat relay activates.
Then power is supplied
through 10A fuse [No. 8, located in fuse block (J/B)]
through heated seat relay terminals 3 and 5
to front heated seat switch (driver side and passenger side) terminal 1.
Driver Side
LOW FUNCTION
When front heated seat switch (driver side) is in LOW position, power is supplied
through front heated seat switch (driver side) terminal 2
to seat heater (driver side) terminals 53.
And, ground is supplied
to seat heater terminal 52
through grounds B16 and B17.
Then seat heater (driver side) LOW function is activated.
At this time ground is supplied
to front heated seat switch (driver side) terminal 4
through grounds M71 and M72.
Then indicator illuminates in front heated seat switch (driver side).
HIGH FUNCTION
When front heated seat switch (driver side) is in HIGH position, power is supplied
through front heated seat switch (driver side) terminal 3
to seat heater (driver side) terminals 54.
And, ground is supplied
to seat heater terminal 52
through grounds B16 and B17.
Then seat heater (driver side) HIGH function is activated.
At this time ground is supplied
to front heated seat switch (driver side) terminal 4
through grounds M71 and M72.
Then indicator illuminates in front heated seat switch (driver side).

Passenger Side
LOW FUNCTION
When front heated seat switch (passenger side) is in LOW position, power is supplied
through front heated seat switch (passenger side) terminal 2
to seat heater (passenger side) terminals 21.
And, ground is supplied
to seat heater terminal 20
through grounds B214 and B217.
Then seat heater (passenger side) LOW function is activated.
At this time ground is supplied
to front heated seat switch (passenger side) terminal 4
through grounds M71 and M72.
Then indicator illuminates in front heated seat switch (passenger side).
HIGH FUNCTIN
When front heated seat switch (passenger side) is in HIGH position, power is supplied
through front heated seat switch (passenger side) terminal 3
to seat heater (passenger side) terminals 22.
And, ground is supplied
to seat heater terminal 20
through grounds B214 and B217.
Then seat heater (passenger side) HIGH function is activated.
At this time ground is supplied
to front heated seat switch (passenger side) terminal 4
through grounds M71 and M72.
Then indicator illuminates in front heated seat switch (passenger side).
REAR HEATED SEAT
When ignition switch is ON, heated seat relay activates.
Then power is supplied
through 10A fuse [No. 3, located in fuse block (J/B)]
through heated seat relay terminals 6 and 7
to heated seat control unit terminal 41 and
to rear heated seat switch LH terminal 22 and RH terminal 30.
Ground is supplied at all times
to heated seat control unit terminal 42
through grounds B16 and B17.
LH Side
LOW FUNCTION
When rear heated seat switch LH is in LOW position, ground is supplied
to heated seat control unit terminal 20
through rear heated seat switch LH terminals 20 and 21
through grounds B16 and B17.
And, power is supplied
through heated seat control unit terminal 36
to seat heater LH terminal 36
ground is supplied
to seat heater LH terminal 39
through grounds B16 and B17.
Then seat heater LH LOW function is activated.
At this time ground is supplied
to rear heated seat switch LH terminal 23
