fer case output shaft.
(2) Align and install center bearing on crossmem-
ber, if necessary and tighten nutts to 54 N´m (40 ft.
lbs.).

REMOVAL
(1) Clamp shaft in a vise (with soft jaws) and sup-
port C/V joint.
(2) Remove clamps with a cut-off wheel or grinder
(Fig. 4).
CAUTION: Do not damage C/V housing or half
shaft.
