THE KEYS The keys allow you to switch on the ignition and to independently opera-te the locks on the front doors, thefuel filler cap, the glove box and thepassenger air bag disarming switch. Central locking
From the driver's door, the keys allow you to lock, deadlock* or unlock thedoors and tailgate, as well as fold backthe exterior mirrors*. If one of the doors or the boot is open, the central locking does not work; ableep indicates this when locking byremote control. The remote control performs the same functions at a distance.The remote control LockingPress button

This is confirmed by fixed lighting of the direction indicators for approxi-mately two seconds. Note : a long press on button A, in
addition to locking, automatically closes the windows* and the sun-roof*.
Vehicles fitted with deadlocking*
Warning: deadlocking* renders the
internal and external door locking controls inoperative. Pressing button Adeadlocks the
vehicle. This is confirmed by fixed lighting of the direction indicators forapproximately two seconds. Note: a long press on button Aper-
mits automatic closing of the win- dows* and the sunroof*, in additionto deadlocking.

This is confirmed by rapid flashing of the direction indicators. Note: if the vehicle is locked and
unlocking is activated inadvertently without the doors being openedwithin 30 seconds, the vehicle will
lock automatically. Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range
of your vehicle. You risk causing itnot to work and the remote controlwould have to be reprogrammed. Locating your car
To locate your car, if you have loc- ked it, in a car park: press button A(the courtesy
lights come on and the direction indicators flash for a fewseconds).

EXTERIOR MIRRORS Electric rear view mirrors* Turn knob Ato the right or to the

When parked, the mirrors can be
folded back manually, electrically* bypulling knob Arearwards or automa-
tically* when locking the vehicle. The exterior mirrors are unfolded by switching on the ignition to thesecond notch or to the ON position. Note : the folding back function

ler. Manual exterior mirrors Move the lever in all four directions to adjust. When the vehicle is parked, the exte- rior mirrors can be folded back
manually.
INTERIOR MIRROR The interior mirror has two positions: -
day (normal),
- night (anti-dazzle).
To change from one to the other, push or pull the lever on the loweredge.

The exterior mirror on the driver's side is convex*(outer edge defined by adotted line) in order to eli-minate the "blind spot".
As a result, objects observed inthe driver's and passenger's mir-rors are in reality closer than they
appear. This must be taken into account to correctly judge the distance ofvehicles approaching frombehind.
AREAS FOR TOLL CARDS /
CAR PARK TICKETS The athermic windscreen has two non-reflective zones located either
side of the base of the interior mirror.
They are intended for affixing toll cards and/or car park tickets.

3 - Rear courtesy light With the key in the accessories position (1st notch) or with the ignition on, ope- rate the relevant switch. The front and rear courtesy lights come on when the ignition key is removed, on unlocking the vehicle or on opening one of the doors.
They gradually go off after the ignition has been switched on or the vehicle is locked. Pressing switch 1turns on the front and rear courtesy lights for a duration of
ten minutes.
Pressing switch 3turns on the rear courtesy light for a duration of
ten minutes.
Note: The courtesy lights can be deactivated by pressing switch 1for more than
three seconds. However, a short press on switch 1switches the courtesy light on
and off.
The map reading lights are not affected by this and may be switched on. To re-activate the lights, press the switch for more than three seconds. SUN VISOR WITH
ILLUMINATED COURTESYMIRROR* With the ignition on, the mirror is automatically lit up when the flap isopened.
