Sistem ini terdiri atas empat sensorkedekatan yang terpasang di bumperbelakang dan satu speaker khususyang terpasang di dashboard.
Sistem ini mendeteksi semua rintangan(orang, kendaraan, pohon, pembatas,trotoarÉ) yang ada di di belakang ken-daraan.
Catatan :
fungsi ini akan dinonaktif-
kan secara otomatis bila sedangmenarik trailer atau memasang pen-gangkut sepeda (kendaraan yangdiperlengkapi dengan penarik trailerdan pengangkut sepeda yang dire-komendasikan oleh PEUGEOT).Saat musim dingin, pastikan bahwasensor tidak tertutupi oleh bunga esatau salju. Pengoperasian Sistem mulai aktif begitu gigi mundur diaktifkan ; bunyi bip menunjukkanbahwa sistem telah aktif. Informasi kedekatan diberikan oleh sinyal akustik yang akan berbunyimakin cepat saat kendaraan berge-rak mendekati rintangan. Bila jarak antara bagian belakang kendaraan dan rintangan kurang darisekitar 25 cm, sinyal akustik menjadikontinu. Penonaktifan
Pindahkan ke posisi netral, sis- tem menjadi tidak aktif lagi.
Zona deteksi
Bila terjadi kesalahan ope-rasi sistem, sinyal akustik akan menjadi bunyi bippendek yang diikuti den-gan bip panjang saat pin-
dah ke gigi mundur.

CHANGING A FUSE
The fuse boxes are located under
the fascia (left hand side) and in the
engine compartment.
The spare fuses and special pliers A
are fixed to the inside of the lid of the
fascia panel fuse box.
Removing and changing a
fuse
Before changing a fuse you must find
out the cause of the fault and have it
corrected. The fuse numbers are
indicated on the fuse box. Use the special pliers A.
Always change a faulty fuse for
one of the same rating. Fascia fuses
Unscrew the bolt a quarter of a
turn with a coin, then pull the
handle to open the cover and
access the fuses.

TOWING A TRAILER,
CARAVAN, BOAT etc.
Only use original PEUGEOT tow
bars that have been tested and
approved from the design stage of
your vehicle. The tow bar must be fit
ted by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Your vehicle is basically designed for
transporting people and luggage but it
may also be used for towing a trailer.
Driving with a trailer subjects the
towing vehicle to more significant
stress and its driver must be particu
larly careful.
Air density decreases with altitude,
thus reducing engine performance.
Above 1000 metres, the maximum
towing load must be reduced by 10%
and so on for every 1000 metres of
altitude.Driving advice
Distribution of loads
Distribute the load in the trailer so
that the heaviest items are as close
as possible to the axle and the nose
weight approaches the maximum
permitted without exceeding it.
Cooling
Towing a trailer on a slope increases
the temperature of the coolant.
As the fan is electrically controlled,
its cooling capacity is not dependent
on the engine speed.
On the contrary, use a high gear to
lower the engine speed, and reduce
your speed.
The maximum towing load on a long
slope depends on the gradient and
the outside temperature.
In all cases, pay attention to the
coolant temperature.
If the warning light comes on, stop
the vehicle and switch off the engine
as soon as possible.Tyres
Check the tyre pressures of the tow
ing vehicle and of the trailer, observ
ing the recommended pressures.
Braking
Towing increases the braking distance.
Lights
Check the electrical signalling on the
trailer.
Side wind
Take into acount the increased sen
sitivity to side wind.
