To open the side windows, pull the
lever and push the window.

Repriming the circuit
To reprime after running out of diesel : - Fill the tank with at least five litres of diesel, with the vehicle parked on as level a surface as possible. - Operate the manual repriming pump until resistance is felt.
- Operate the starter, pressing the accelerator lightly until the engine starts. If the engine fails to start at the first attempt, wait for 15 seconds and then try again. If it fails to start after several attempts, repeat the operation from the beginning. With the engine at idle, press the accelerator lightly to bleed the system.
86V- 3DIESEL INJECTION SYSTEM
1.9 Diesel engine, removal of the engine undertray- Pull the securing clip Atowards the front
of the vehicle.
- Remove the dipstick.
- Unscrew bolt Band remove it.
- Remove the undertray.
- Reprime the circuit.
- Refit the undertray (engine not running).

Fuel supply cut-off switch This switch is located under the bonnet on the right hand side
To restore the fuel supply after a cut-off, press the top of the switch as shown in the diagram.
87V- 4FUEL CUT-OFF SYSTEM*
If your vehicle is fitted with a device which cuts off the fuel supply, this provides additional safety in the majority or frontal or rear impacts.* According to specification or country.
Before switching the ignition on again,
make sure that there is no fuel leakage or smell of fuel.

Caution
Take care when carrying out checks under the bonnet when theengine is hot, even if the engine is
switched off, as the cooling fancan start up at any time. The engine oil should be checked regularly between the servicevisits recommended by the manu-
facturer, as well as before longjourneys.
