Vaihteistossa on nelja nopeusaluetta
eteenpain ja peruutusvaihde.
Yksittaiset vaihteet kytkeytyvat automaattisesti riippuen valitsinvivun asennosta, auton nopeudesta ja kaasu polkimen asennosta. Valitsinvivulla on
kuusi asentoa ja siina on lukitusnappula,
joka estaa vaaran vaihteen valinnan va
hingossa.
n Lukitusnappulaa on painettava , V jotta valitsin liikkuisi.
I Nappulaa ei tarvise painaa valitsi.. men liikuttamiseksi.
Mittaristossa olevat merkkivalot osoittavat valitsinvivun asennon. Merkkivalo syttyy, kun virta-avain
kaannetaan
ON-asentoon.

Automatic transmission F I04A·Ca
The transmission has 4 forward speeds
and 1 reverse speed.
The
individual gears are selec ted automatically, depending on the position of the gear selector lever, the speed of the
vehicle and the position of the acceler
ator pedal.
The selector lever has 6
positions, and is equipped with a lock button to avoid inad vertent selectio n of the wrong gear.
n Button must be pressed to move the V selector lever.
I
Button need not be pressed to move .. the selector lever.
The
indication lamps in the instrument panel are for indicating the selector lever position and one of them illuminates when the ignition is switched "ON".

asennossa "0".

2-SECOND This position is for extra power when driving up moderately
steep hills, and for engine braking when descending moder
ately steep grades.
L-LOW This position is for driving up very steep hills and for engine braking at low speeds when descending steep grades .

Overdrive control switch EI04C·Ba
During ordinary driving, the overdrive switch should be left in the pressed-in
position (the indication lamp in the in
strument panel is off). Automatic shifting will be performed in
the range from 1 st gear through 4th gear if the selector lever is set at "0 ".
When you need quick acceleration or engine braking power on a downhill grade , or when you are going to go up a
long hill, press the overdrive switch once again to cancel the overdrive function. The indication lamp in the instrument panel lights up and automatic shifting will be performed in the range from 1 st
gear through 3rd gear only.
