Polttoainejiirjestelmii on ilmattava, mi­kiili polttoaine loppuu kesken ajon.
1 .
Lbysiitkiiii polttoainesuodattimen piiiillii oleva ilmaustulppa.
2. Pumpatkaa kiisipumpulla, kunnes
ilmaustulpasta tulevassa polttoai­neessa ei eniiii ole ilmakuplia .
Kiiiirikiiii riitti tai vast. ilmaustulpan
ympiirille ettei ulostuleva polttoaine valu ympiiriinsii.
3 . Kiristiikiiii ilmaustulppa kun polt­
toaineessa ei eniiii ole ilmakuplia .
4. Jatkakaa pumppaamista kunnes kii­sipumppu alkaa tuntua raskaalta. 5. Tarkistakaa lopuksi ettei polttoai ­
netta vuoda mistiiiin kohdasta. Ot­
takaa yhteys liihimpiiiin valtuutet­tuun MITSUBISHI huoltokor­jaamoonjos ette ole varma jostain
asiasta .

Bleeding the fuel system
(diesel-powered vehicles
only) EN07A·S
The fuel system should be bled to re­
move air as described below if the fuel supply is exhausted during travel.
1. Loos en the air
plug at the top of the
fuel filter .
2. Pump the hand pump until there are no more bubbles in the fuel coming out of the air plug. When doing this,
place a cloth around the air plug to
prevent the escaping fuel from spewing about. 3. Tighten the air plug when there are no more bubbles in the fuel.
4 . Continue pumping until the hand pump becomes stiff.
5 . Finally , check to be sure that there is no leakage of fuel. If in doubt, con­sult your nearest authorized MITSUBISHI dealer.

Jos polttoainesuodattimen varoitusvalo syttyy ajon aikana, merkitsee se sita etta
vetta on kertynyt suodattimeen. Jos nain
kay , poistakaa vesi suodattimesta seu­
raavalla tavalla.
1. Lbysatkaa tyhjennystulppaa suodattimen pohjalla. 2. Pumpatkaa hitaasti kuusi, seitseman kertaa jotta vesi valuu ulos tyhjennystulpasta.
& CAUTION (1) Do not smoke or have any other open flame near the vehicle while bleeding the fuel system. (2) Be sure to carefully clean away any fuel which spilled onto nearby parts when coming out of the air plug. because such accumulations of fuel might ignite and cause a fire.
Removal of water from
the fuel filter (diesel­
powered vehicles only) EN07B·B
If the warning lamp illuminates during driving, it indicates that water has accu­
mulated in the fuel filter. If this occurs,
remove the water as described below.
1 . Loosen the drain
plug at the bottom of the fuel filter. 2. Operate the hand pump slowly 6 or 7 times in order to force the water out through the drain plug.

3. Tighten the drain plug when water no longer comes out. 4. Loosen the air plug and bleed the air. (Refer to "Bleeding the fuel
system" .)
5 . Check
to be sure that the warning lamp illuminates when the ignition key is turned to " ON ", and that it goes off when the engine is started . If in doubt, consult your nearest
authorized MITSUBISHI deal er.
&. CAUTION (1) Do not smoke or have any other open flame near
the vehicle while bleeding the fuel system . (2) Be sure to carefully wipe up any water drained out
in this manner. because the fuel mixed in the water miQht be iqnited and result in a fire.

Tarkasta valojen toiminta kytkemalla ne kerran paalle ja pois.
Jos valot eivat toimi, on siihen todennakoisin syy viallinen
sulake tai polttimo,
Tarkasta ensin sulakkeet ja sitten polttimot Sulakkeiden ja polttimoiden tarkastusta ja vaihtamista koskevia tietoja sa at
kappaleesta "Hatatoimenpite ita" .

Fuel, engine coolant, oil and exhaust gas
leakage EM14AB
Look under the body of your vehicle to check for fuel , engine coolant. oil and exhaust gas leaks .
If leaks are evident, take your vehicle to an authorized MITSU­BISHI dealer for inspection.
Exterior and interior lamp operation EMJoA-A
Operate the light switch and combination switch to confirm that all lamps are functioning prop erly . If the lamps do not go on, the probable cause is a blown fuse
or defective lamp bulb, Check the fuses first, If there is no blown fuse, check the lamp bulbs. For information regarding the inspection and replacement of the fuses and the lamp bulbs, refer to the section entitled "For emergencies"
If the fuses and bulbs are all OK, take the vehicl e to an
authorized MITSUBISHI dealer for inspection.
