(2) Position the vehicle on a flat, hard
surface and apply the parking brake.
To prevent the vehicle from rolling when it is raised on the jack, chock the wheel (A) diagonally opposite to that being changed (8). (3) Get the spare wheel, jack, jack handle and wheel cap wrench ready.
(4) Place the spare wheel under the
vehicle body near the jack; this
helps to minimize danger should the
jack slip off position .
(5) Use the wheel cap wrench to re
move the cap from the wheel.

(3) Turvallisuuden tahden valttakaa kayttamasta erityyppisia renkaita tai ajoneuvoonne sopimattomia renkaita.

& CAUTION (1) After changing the tyre. drive the vehicle approximately 1000 km (621 miles) and retighten the wheel nuts to make sure that they are not loose. (2) If the steering wheel vibrates when driving after change of the tyre, have the tyre checked for balance at your MITSUBISHI dealer. (3) For the safety of your vehicle, be sure to avoid mixing one type of tyre with another type or using tyros of the size other than the specified size.

Yli 50 % pinnastaan kuluneet renkaat eivat enaa kelpaa
talvirenkaiksi .

Tyres tend to wear unevenly over a long period of service . To make sure that the
tyres wear evenly as possible and for longer life, rotate the wheels in the se
quence illustrated .

Every 20,000 km (12,000 miles) or 24
m onths, whichever comes first.
Take the vehicle to
an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer to have
the wheels properly balanced.
Snow tyres
The use of snow tyres is reco mmended for driving in snow and
ice . To preserve driving stability, m oun t snow tyres of th e same
size and tread pattern on all four wheels.
Snow tyres worn more than 50% are no longer suitable for use as snow tyres. Snow tyres which do not meet specifications must not be used .
NOTE ( 1 ) Th e laws and regulation s
concerning snow tyres (driving speed, required use, type, etc.) vary. Find out and follow the laws and regulations in driving area. (2) If flange nuts are used on your vehicle , change to taper ed
nuts when snow tyres (stee l wheels) are used .
