Power Door Locks (If equipped)
[FV00835(ALL)08/95]
When you close the doors after you lock them
with the power door locks, the doors remain
locked. If the power mechanism ever fails, the
manual door locks will override the power locks.
[FV00850(ALL)08/95]
NOTE: Vehicles equipped with power locks
have a safety feature which allows you
to unlock one or both front doors from
either door lock key cylinder.

(4-door and wagon models)
*
[FV01800(ALL)03/95]
In addition to standard or power locks, your
vehicle has childproof locks for the rear doors. If
you set these locks, the rear doors cannot be
opened from the inside of the vehicle. The doors
can still be opened from the outside when the
lock knobs are raised.

RWARNING
Rear seat passengers should not lean on
the front seatback while the vehicle is in
motion. A seatback which is folded
forward even a small degree may not lock
properly in the event of a sudden stop or
collision. Do not allow packages or other
objects to interfere with the normal
positions of the seatback or the emergency
seatback release. This may prevent the
seatback from locking in the event of a
sudden stop or collision and could cause
personal injury.
