QUARTER WINDOW GLASS REMOVAL
1. REMOVE THESE PARTS:

(a) Tonneau cover
(b) Luggage compartment mat
(c) Spare wheel cover
(d) Rear seatback
(e) Removable roof stay RH and LH (Sport roof)
(f) Deck trim rear cover
(g) Removable roof holder (Sport roof)
(h) Quarter wheel house inner cover
(i) Speaker grille
(j) Deck trim side board
(k) Front door scuff inside plate
(l) Rear quarter trim board
(m) Front seat outer belt shoulder anchor
(n) Rear seat outer belt floor anchor
(o) Roof side inner garnish
(p) Rear roof headlining (Sport roof)
2. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHERSTRIP
(a) Using the clip remover, remove 3 clips from the rear side of
the weatherstrip.
(b) Remove the rear side of the weatherstrip from the retainer.
3. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHERSTRIP RETAINER
Remove the outside garnish seal and retainer.
4. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW GLASS
(a) Remove the 3 nuts.

Torque: 25 NVm (260 kgfVcm, 19 ftVlbf)
(f) Removable roof stay RH and LH (Sport roof)

(h) Removable roof holder RH and LH (Sport roof)
(i) Quarter wheel house cover
(j) Deck trim side board
(k) Front door scuff inside plate
(l) Speaker grille
(m) Rear quarter trim board
(n) Front seat outer belt
(o) Rear seat outer belt

FUEL PUMP REMOVAL
CAUTION: Do not smoke or work near an open flame when
working on the fuel pump.
1. TAKE OUT FLOOR CARPET
2. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER
3. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL
4. REMOVE SERVICE HOLE COVER

(g) Install the retainer clamp.
(h) Connect the connector and hoses to the fuel pump bracket:
wFuel pump connector
wFuel outlet hose
Connect the outlet hose with 2 new gaskets and the union
bolt.
Torque: 29 NVm (300 kgfVcm, 22 ftVlbf)
wFuel return hose
wFuel breather hose
2. REMOVE SERVICE HOLE COVER
3. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL
4. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER
5. TAKE OUT FLOOR CARPET
6. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS

FUEL PUMP REMOVAL

2. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER
3. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL

(e) Temporarily install the retainer.
(f) Using SST, tighten the retainer until the arrow mark on
retainer is within the lines on the fuel tank.
SST 09808±14010
(g) Check that the arrow marks of the fuel pump bracket and fuel
tank are aligned.
(h) Install the retainer clamp.
(i) Connect the connector and hoses to the fuel pump bracket:
wFuel pump connector
wFuel outlet hose
Connect the outlet hose with 2 new gaskets and the union
bolt.
Torque: 29 NVm (300 kgfVcm, 22 ftVlbf)
wFuel return hose
wFuel breather hose
2. INSTALL SERVICE HOLE COVER
3. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL
4. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER
5. INSTALL FLOOR CARPET
6. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS
