UNLOCKING AND LOCKING THEDOORS USING THE REMOTECONTROL
You can only use the remote control whenyour vehicle is stationary.
Unlocking the Doors
Press the button to unlock alldoors. One long flash of the turnsignal lamps confirms that yourvehicle has unlocked.
One-Stage Unlocking
Press the button to unlock alldoors.
Two-Stage Unlocking (If Equipped)
Press the button to unlock thedriver's door. Press the buttonagain within three seconds tounlock all doors.
Locking the Doors
Press the button to lock alldoors. One short flash of theturn signal lamps confirms yourvehicle is locked.

UNLOCKING AND LOCKING THEDOORS USING THE CENTRALLOCKING
The power door lock control is on the frontdoors.
Press the button to unlock alldoors.
Press the button to lock alldoors.
Note:The central locking only operates ifthe front doors are fully closed.
OPENING THE DOORS FROMINSIDE YOUR VEHICLE
E-Latch
Pull the interior door handle twice tounlock and open a rear door. The first pullunlocks the door and the second pullopens the door.
AUTOUNLOCK
WHAT IS AUTOUNLOCK
Autounlock is an unlocking feature thatunlocks the vehicle doors when yourvehicle comes to a stop.
AUTOUNLOCK REQUIREMENTS
Autounlock unlocks all the doors after allof the following occur.

HEADLAMPS
USING THE HIGH BEAMHEADLAMPS
Push the lever away from you toswitch the high beams on.
Push the lever forward again or pull thelever toward you to switch the high beamsoff.
Slightly pull the lever toward you andrelease it to flash the headlamps.
Note:Continuous activation only withheadlamps on.
SWITCHING HEADLAMP EXITDELAY ON AND OFF
To switch headlamp exit delay on, pull theturn signal lever toward you after switchingyour vehicle off.
To switch headlamp exit delay off, pull theturn signal lever toward you again or switchyour vehicle on.
Note:The headlamps turn off after threeminutes with any door open or 30 secondsafter the last door closes.

EXTERIOR LAMPS
USING THE TURN SIGNAL LAMPS
Push the lever up or down toswitch the turn signal lamps on.
Set the lever to the middle position toswitch the turn signal lamps off.
Note:Tap the lever up or down to make theturn signal lamps flash three times.
Turn Signal Lamp Indicator
It flashes when you switch theturn signal lamps on.
Note:An increase in the rate of flashingwarns of a failed turn signal lamp.
SWITCHING THE DAYTIMERUNNING LAMPS ON AND OFF
WARNING: The daytime runninglamps system does not activate the rearlamps and may not provide adequatelighting during low visibility drivingconditions. Make sure you switch theheadlamps on, as appropriate, during alllow visibility conditions. Failure to do somay result in a crash.

2.Press Vehicle.
3.Press Lighting.
4.Switch Daytime Running Lights on oroff.
The daytime running lamps turn on whenall of the following occur:
•You switch the system on.
•You switch the vehicle on.
•The transmission is not in park (P) forvehicles with automatic transmissionsor you release the parking brake forvehicles with manual transmissions.
•The lighting control is in the autolampsposition.
•The headlamps are off.
Note:Other lighting control positions donot turn on the daytime running lamps.

AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM
CONTROL
HOW DOES AUTOMATIC HIGHBEAM CONTROL WORK
Automatic high beam control turns thehigh beams on if it is dark enough and noother traffic is present. If it detects anapproaching vehicle’s headlamps or taillamps, or street lighting ahead, the systemturns the high beams off.
A camera sensor, centrally mountedbehind the windshield of your vehicle,continuously monitors conditions to turnthe high beams on and off.

To reset the power-fold feature, use thepower-folding mirror control to fold andunfold the mirrors. A loud noise could occurwhen you reset the power-folding mirrors,this sound is normal. Repeat this processas needed each time the mirrors aremanually folded.
FOLDING THE EXTERIOR
MIRRORS - VEHICLES WITH:
MANUAL FOLDING MIRRORS
Push the mirror toward the door windowglass. Make sure that you fully engage themirror in its support when returning it to itsoriginal position.
Heated Exterior Mirrors

Memory Mirrors
You can save and recall the mirrorpositions through the memory function.See Saving a Preset Position (page 154).
Directional Indicator Mirrors
When your vehicle is running, theforward-facing portion of the appropriatemirror housing blinks when you switch onthe turn signal.
Puddle Lamps
The puddle lamps turn on when youapproach your vehicle with a remotecontrol or phone. If your vehicle hasauto-folding mirrors, the puddle lamps areonly on if the mirrors are unfolded and turnoff when the mirrors fold.
