FOLDING THE EXTERIOR
MIRRORS - VEHICLES WITH:
POWER FOLDING MIRRORS
The exterior mirrors fold when you lockyour vehicle and unfold when you unlockyour vehicle.
For tight parking conditions,press the control to fold themirrors.
Press the control switch again to unfoldthe mirrors.
Note:Do not stop the mirrors midwaythrough their movement. Wait until themirrors stop moving and press the controlagain.
The left-hand and right-hand mirrors moveat different rates. For example, one mirrormay stop while the other one continues tomove. This is normal.
If you press the control switch to fold themirrors with auto fold on, the mirrors donot unfold when you unlock your vehicle.
Note:The power folding mirrors operatewith the ignition on, and for several minutesafter you switch the ignition off.
Note:If you fold and unfold the mirrorsseveral times within one minute, the powerfold function may turn off to protect themotors from overheating.
Switching Auto fold On and Off
1.Press Settings on the touchscreen.
2.Press Vehicle Settings.
3.Press Mirrors.
4.Switch Autofold on or off.
Loose Mirror
If your power folding mirrors are manuallyfolded, they may not work properly evenafter you reposition them. You need toreset them if:
•The mirrors vibrate when you drive.
•The mirrors feel loose.
•The mirrors do not stay in the folded orunfolded position.
•One of the mirrors is not in its normaldriving position.
To reset the mirrors perform the followingsteps:
1.Fold or retract both mirrors manually.
2.Using the power folding/powertelescoping mirror control switch,operate the mirrors until you hear anaudible click.
3.Operate the power folding or powertelescoping mirrors an additional 3 to4 times to synchronize the mirrors.

MIRROR (IF EQUIPPED)
WHAT IS THE AUTO-DIMMINGEXTERIOR MIRROR
The driver exterior mirror dims when theinterior auto-dimming mirror turns on.

Battery
Illuminates when you switch theignition on.
If it illuminates when the engineis running, this indicates your vehiclerequires service. Have your vehiclechecked as soon as possible.
Brake System
Illuminates when you apply theparking brake and the ignition ison. If it illuminates when yourvehicle is moving, make sure theparking brake is released. If theparking brake is released, thisindicates low brake fluid level or the brakesystem requires service. Have your vehiclechecked as soon as possible.
Note:Indicators may vary depending onregion.
Door Ajar
Illuminates when you switch theignition on and remains on if anydoor is open.
Electric Parking Brake
Illuminates or flashes when theelectric parking brake requiresservice.
Engine Coolant Temperature
If it illuminates, safely stop yourvehicle and switch the vehicleoff.
Fasten Seatbelt
Illuminates and a tone soundsuntil you fasten the seatbelts.
Hood Ajar
Illuminates when the ignition ison and the hood is notcompletely closed.
Liftgate Ajar
Illuminates when the ignition ison and the liftgate is notcompletely closed.
Low Fuel Level
Illuminates when the fuel levelis low.
Low Tire Pressure
Illuminates when your tirepressure is low. If illuminated,check your tire pressure as soonas possible. If it begins to flash at any time,have the system checked as soon aspossible.
Low Washer Fluid Level
Illuminates when the washerfluid is low.
Oil Pressure
Illuminates when the engine oilpressure is low.
Powertrain Malfunction, ReducedPower, Electronic Throttle Control,Check Driveline, Electronic LimitedSlip Differential
Illuminates when the powertrainor four-wheel drive requireservice. Have the systemchecked as soon as possible.

Malfunction Indicator Lamp
Illuminates when the ignition ison and the engine is off, this isnormal. If it illuminates when theengine is on this indicates the emissioncontrol system requires service. WHAT IS REMOTE START
The system allows you to remotely startyour vehicle and to adjust the interiortemperature according to the settings thatyou chose.

PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: Do not start the enginein a closed garage or in other enclosedareas. Exhaust fumes are toxic. Alwaysopen the garage door before you startthe engine. Failure to follow thisinstruction could result in personal injuryor death.
WARNING: Do not keep electricaldevices plugged in the power pointwhenever the device is not in use. Powerpoints power up during remote start.
WARNING: Do not keep electricaldevices plugged into the power outletwhenever the device is not in use. Theoutlet provides power when the vehicleis on. Failure to follow this instructioncould result in personal injury.
REMOTE START LIMITATIONS
Remote start does not work under thefollowing conditions:
•The alarm horn is sounding.
•The hood is open.
•The transmission is not in park (P).
•The ignition is on.
•The battery voltage is below theminimum operating voltage.
•Remote start is not enabled.
Note:Do not use remote start if the fuellevel is low.
ENABLING REMOTE START -

EXTENDING THE REMOTE
START DURATION
To extend the remote start duration duringremote start, do the following:
Press the button on the remotecontrol.
Within three seconds, press thebutton on the remote control.
Within three seconds, press thebutton again.
If the duration is set to 15 minutes, theduration extends by another 15 minutes.This provides a total of 30 minutes.
Note:Remote start can only be extendedonce.
Note:A maximum of two remote starts, orone remote start with an extension, areallowed. To reset the restart procedureswitch the vehicle to on, then to off.

Note:Be sure the third-row center headrestraint is in the lowered position beforeyou power the rear seats down. Thethird-row outermost head restraints foldautomatically when you press the foldbutton.
UNFOLDING THE SEAT BACKREST
To return the second-row seat backrest tothe original position, rotate the seatbackrest up until it latches in the uprightposition. The seat backrest clicks when itis locked into position.
To return the third-row seat backrest tothe original position, press thecorresponding control again.
Note:If the third row seat does notcompletely fold or unfold, press and holdthe seat button until the seat folds andunfolds twice.
If the power rear seat is disabled after 10minutes, you can enable the seat by:
•Opening any door.
•Pressing the unlock button on the keyfob.
•Pressing any keyless entry keypadbutton.
•Switching the ignition on.
Folding Down the Rear Seats to theLoad Floor
WARNING: To prevent possibledamage to the seat or seatbelts, makesure that the seatbelts are not fastenedbefore folding the seatback.
WARNING: Do not place cargo orany objects behind the seatback beforereturning it to the original position.
The third-row seats have obstacledetection that prevents the seats fromfolding or returning if they are obstructed.
HEATED SEATS (IF EQUIPPED)

WARNING: Use caution when usingthe heated seat if you are unable to feelpain to your skin because of advancedage, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cordinjury, medication, alcohol use,exhaustion or other physical conditions.The heated seat could cause burns evenat low temperatures, especially if usedfor long periods of time. Failure to followthis instruction could result in personalinjury.
WARNING: Do not poke sharpobjects into the seat cushion or seatbackrest. This could damage the heatedseat element and cause it to overheat.Failure to follow this instruction couldresult in personal injury.
WARNING: Do not place anythingon the seat that blocks the heat, forexample a seat cover or a cushion. Thiscould cause the seat to overheat. Failureto follow this instruction could result inpersonal injury.

•Place heavy objects on the seat.
•Operate the heated seat if water or anyother liquid spills on the seat. Allow theseat to dry.

WHAT IS THE REAR
OCCUPANT ALERT SYSTEM
The rear occupant alert system monitorsvehicle conditions and notifies you to checkfor rear seat occupants when you switchthe ignition off.
HOW DOES THE REAR
OCCUPANT ALERT SYSTEM
WORK
The system monitors when rear doors havebeen opened and closed to indicate thepotential presence of an occupant in therear seat.
A message displays in the information andentertainment display screen and anaudible warning sounds when you switchthe ignition off after any of the followingconditions have been met:
•A rear door is opened or closed whilethe ignition is on.
•You switch the ignition on within 15minutes of a rear door opening andclosing.
•You switch the ignition on within 15minutes of the alert having displayedor sounded.
REAR OCCUPANT ALERT
SYSTEM PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: On hot days, thetemperature inside the vehicle can risevery quickly. Exposure of people oranimals to these high temperatures foreven a short time can cause death orserious heat related injuries, includingbrain damage. Small children areparticularly at risk.
WARNING: Do not leave childrenor pets unattended in your vehicle.Failure to follow this instruction couldresult in personal injury or death.
REAR OCCUPANT ALERT
SYSTEM LIMITATIONS
The system does not detect the presenceof objects or passengers in the rear seat.It monitors when rear doors are openedand closed.
Note:It is possible to receive an alert whenthere is no rear seat occupant, but alertconditions are met.
Note:It is possible to receive no alert whenthere is an occupant in the rear seat, if alertconditions are not met. For example, if a rearseat occupant does not enter the vehiclethrough a rear door.
Note:The audible warning does not soundwhen the front door is opened before youswitch the ignition off.
