Function of the DYNAMIC SELECT switch

Depending on the engine and equipment, the

ehicle has diMerent drive programs.
Use the DYNAMIC SELECT switch to change
be
tween the following drive programs.
The drive program selected appears on the instru-
ment display.
Individual
= Individual settings
B Sport+ = Particularly sporty driving
= Driving with the combustion engine and rein-
forced boost eMect (plug-in hybrid) =
Em
phasises the vehicle's own oversteer and
understeer characteristics for an even more
active driving style
= Only suitable for good road conditions, a dry
road surface and a clear stretch of road
C Sport
= Continues to oMer stability but with a sporty
setup
= Enables the sporty driver to adopt a more
active driving style
= Driving with the combustion engine and rein-
forced boost eMect (plug-in hybrid)
= Only suitable for good road conditions, a dry
road surface and a clear stretch of road
A Comfort = Comfortable and economical driving
= Balance between traction and stability
= The selection of the matching drive type by
the hybrid system depends on the driving con-
ditions and the distance (plug-in hybrid)
= Recommended for all road conditions Î Electric

cally.

activated will the drive program and ECO
start/stop setting for the previous journey be

tolerances (basis: UN-ECE No. 85 or country-
speciNc guidelines).

are, for example:
= Sea level
= Fuel quality
= Outside temperature
= Operating temperature of the engine
% The values displayed serve only as orienta-
tion. The v
alues for engine output and engine
torque shown on the media display may devi-

Use t

he OMroad Score only for oM-road driving
and not on public roads. When choosing the
route, take into account the vehicle characteris-
tics, the ground conditions and your driving skills.
Do not let the system distract you from what is
happening on the route. 
Select Offroad score.
A menu appear
s. You can start a new trip.
Further functions are available in the lower menu
bar

= Display the current trip via the route symbol. =

y a list of all notes for the current trip
using the list icon.
In the list, a note is displayed with a time
stamp, the number of points currently ach-
ieved and the note text.
= Display the ranking by clicking on the symbol
for the winner's podium.
The ranking list shows the following informa-
tion:
- ProNle name and proNle picture (if availa-
ble)
- The number of points obtained
- Date and time of the completed trip
- The places for gold, silver and bronze
Starting or ending a new trip
The "Start new trip" function is available when the
vehicle is stationary and the engine is running. 
Select Start new trip .

The following information is displayed: = the vehicle inclination in longitudinal direc-
tion in percent (%) =

he lateral inclination of the vehicle in
degrees (°)
= the currently achieved score for the ongo-
ing trip
= a tip for the upcoming driving manoeuvre 
To stop the display: select End trip.

valuation of the trip is displayed. It shows
the achieved score and a message, for exam-

they could, in particular:
= open doors, thereby endangering other
persons or road users.
= get out and be struck by oncoming traPc.
= operate vehicle equipment and become
trapped, for example.
In addition, the children could also set the
vehicle in motion by, for example:
= releasing the parking brake.
= changing the transmission position.
= starting the vehicle. 
Never leave children unattended in the

ehicle. 
When leaving the vehicle, always take the

ey with you and lock the vehicle. 
Keep the vehicle key out of the reach of
c
hildren. Use the DIRECT SELECT lever to switch the trans-
mission position. The cur
rent transmission posi-
tion will be shown on the instrument display. j

resistance.

switched on, push the selector lever up or
down for several seconds to the Nrst point of
resistance.
Subsequently releasing the brake pedal will allow

ou to move the vehicle freely, e.g. to push it or
tow it away.
Proceed as follows if you want the automatic
transmission to remain in neutral i even if the
vehicle is switched oM or the driver's door is
opened: 
Depress the brake pedal and engage neutral
i when t

he car is stationary.
The N permanently active Risk of vehicle roll-
ing message appears on the instrument dis-
play. 
Release the brake pedal.

If you then exit the vehicle leaving the key in

he vehicle, the automatic transmission
remains in neutral i.

as soon as one of the following conditions is met:
= You switch to transmission position h or k.

When the vehicle is at a standstill, press but-

When the transmission position display shows
j, the park position is engaged. If the trans-
mission position display j does not appear,
apply the parking brake and secure the vehicle
to prevent it from rolling away.
% Depending on the situation, it may take a
shor
t time until j is engaged. Therefore,
always pay attention to the transmission posi-
tion display.
Park position j is eng
aged automatically if one
of the following conditions is met:
= You switch the stationary vehicle oM in trans-
mission position h or k.
= You open the driver's door when the vehicle is
at a standstill in transmission position h or
k.
= When the vehicle is rolling, you switch if oM in
transmission position h or k and bring it to
a standstill. 212

a standstill and open the driver's door when
the vehicle is stationary or when the vehicle is
rolling and the transmission position is i.

required by the vehicle.

% To manoeuvre with an open driver's door,

he driver's door while at a standstill and
engage transmission position h or k again.

When the automatic transmission is in transmis-
sion position h, it will shis g

This depends, among other things, on the follow-
ing factors:
= The selected drive program
= The position of the accelerator pedal

If the indicator lamp is lit, manual shising is
activated. The current gear will be displayed
on the instrument display.
Temporary setting
