does not replace it.

sons, animals or objects.

Pedest rians or animals approaching theve hi-
cle from the side.

R You open the doors.
ATer the engine is restar ted, obstacles must be
de tected again bydriving past them before a new
wa rning can be issued.

up redfo r appr oximately thre e seconds then goes
out, and theé symbol appears in the driver's
displa y,the system may ha vebeen deactivated
due tosignal inter fere nce. Start theve hicle again
and check if Parking Assist PARKTRONIC is work-
ing at a di.erent location.
If a warning tone also sounds, it may be due to
