The Zero La yer pr ovides you with dynamic content
from the MBUX multimedia system and is used to
qu ickly access and control the applications you
use. When you select ©onthe central displa y,
th e digital map with the applications appears in
th e lo wer display area. Compared tothe home
screen with a classic menu, the steps requ ired to
call up the applications are reduced. You can
switch between the Zero La yer and the home
screen with a classic menu.
The applications can be hidden from the display
area and shown again.
The Zero La yer pr ovides thefo llowing modules
and applications:
R EQ module and navigation module
The EQ module is alw ays shown on the digital
map. In theex panded vie w,charging settings
and navigation functions are o.ered.

applications such as ATTENTION ASSIST and
fa cial recognition, forex ample.
The camera con verts th e image data directly
into me tadata. No image data is sa ved in the
process. The data is only processed in the
ve hicle and is not transmitted from theve hi-
cle.
The driver camera is automatically activated
each time theve hicle is opened with thekey.
The driver camera must be set up forfa ce de tec-
tion before use. Teaching-in biometric data

The tyre pressure
table sho ws there commended
tyre pressure for all tyres appr ovedfo rth is vehi-
cle. The recommended tyre pressures apply for
cold tyres under various operating conditions, i.e.
loading and/or speed of theve hicle.
If one or more tyre sizes precede a tyre pressure,
th e tyre pressure information following is only
va lid forth ose tyre sizes.
If th e preceding tyre sizes are complemented by
th e+ symbol, the tyre pressure information
fo llowing sho wsalternative tyre pressures. These
tyre pressures may impr oveyour vehicle's ride
comfort. Energy consum ption may then increase
slightl y.
The load conditions "pa rtially laden" and "fully
laden" are de/ned in theta ble for di.erent num-
bers of passengers and amounts of luggage. The
actual number of seats may di.er from this.

The system checks the tyre pressure and the tyre
te mp erature of the tyres /t tedtotheve hicle by
means of a tyre pressure sensor.
The tyre pressure and the tyre temp erature
appear in the driver's displa y.
If th ere is a substantial pressure loss or if the tyre
te mp erature is excessive, you will be warned with
display messages (/ page 486) ortheh
wa rning lamp in the driver's display
(/ page 503).
The tyre pressure monitoring system is only an
aid. It is the driver's responsibility toset the tyre
pressure tothere commended cold tyre pressure
suitable forth e operating situation.
In most cases, the tyre pressure monitoring sys-
te m will automatically update the new refere nce
va lues aTer you ha vechanged the tyre pressure.
Yo u can, ho wever, also update there fere nce val-
ues byrestarting the tyre pressure monitoring
