Remote
Software Upgrade
Principle
Remote
Software
Upgrade
can
be
used
to
up#j
date
the
entire
software
of
the
vehicle.
This makes
new
functions,
functional
enhancements
or
quality
improvements
available.
General
information BMW
recommends
performing
the
Remote
Software
Upgrade
as
soon
as
it
becomes
availa#j ble.
Safety
information
Warning
Unattended
children
or
animals
in
the
vehicle
can
cause
the
vehicle
to
move
and
endanger themselves
and
traffic,
for
instance
due
to
thefollowing
actions:

the
Start/Stop

transmitted

vehicle.
This
transmission
method
accelerates
the

load
of
the
data,

in
areas
with
limited mobile
network

reactivated
automatically
during
thenext
trip.
After
an
extended
stationary
period,
charge
the
vehicle
battery
with
an
extended
drive.
Malfunction
In
the
event
of
a
malfunction,
follow
the

display

BMW
app.

the
malfunction
cannot

remedied,
