The hazar dwarning light sy stem will switc hon

R The vehicle is heavily braked from aspeed of
mor ethan 45 mph(70 km/h) toas tandstill.
The hazar dwarning light sy stem will automati‐
call yswitc hoffwhen thev ehicle rega ins aspeed
of mor ethan 6mph (1 0km/h) af term aximum
full-s topb raking.

ot her road users. #

Adaptiv eHighbeam Assis tautomatically
swit ches between thef ollowing settings:

R High beam
The sy stem de tects that vehicle lights are
approaching in theo pposit edirection or driving
ahead of thev ehicle.
If yo ur spee disgreater than 19 mp h(30 km/h)
and no other road user saredetected, hig hbeam
will au tomatically be switched on.
If yo ur spee disgreater than 16 mp h(25 km/h),
th eh eadlam prang ewillbec ontrolle dautomati‐
cally depending on thed ista nce from other road
users.
High beam will automaticall ybedeactivated in
th ef ollowing cases:
R Your spee dislowerthan 16mp h(25 km/h).
R Other road user shave been de tected.
R The road is suf ficiently illumina ted.

youa re re placing thel ight bulb, obser ve
th ef ollowing:
R Do no tuse an ylight bulb that has been drop‐
ped or has scratches on its glass tube .Other‐
wise, thel ight bulb ma yexplode.
R Theb ulb ma yexplod eifitish otor if you
to uch, drop or sc ratchi t.
R Stains on theg lass tube will reduce the
service lif eofthe light bulb. Do no ttouc hthe
gl ass tube wit hyour bar ehands. If necessar y,
clea nthe glass tube wit halcohol or spirits
while it is col dstate and wipe it down wit ha
lint-f reec loth.
R Protect light bulbs from humidity and do not
bring them int ocontact wit hliquids.
R Befor echanging theb ulbs, switc hoffthe
ve hicle's lighting sy stem. This will pr event a
sho rtcircuit.
R Use bulbs only in enclosed la mpsthat ha ve
been designed fort hem.
R Use onl yspar ebulbs of thes ame type and
wit hthe cor rect voltage.
