rear-view mir ror and the outside mir‐
ro r on the driver's side will automatically go into
anti-dazzle mode if light from a headlamp hits
th e sensor on the inside rear-view mir ror.
Sy stem limits
The sy stem will not go into anti-dazzle mode if:
R The drive sy stem is switched off.
R Reversege ar is engaged.
R The interior lighting is swit ched on. Fr

The front-passenger outside mir ror will swivel
down wards in the direction of there ar wheel on

The braking ef fect of the electric mo tor during
re cuperation in overru n mode may be reduced or
may not be available at all in thefo llowing situa‐

R when the high-voltage battery charge level
inc reases
R ifth e high-voltage battery is not yet at a nor‐
mal operating temp erature
R when driving at speeds close tozero

these cases, the desired deceleration is set by

% Cross Traf fic Alert is only available forve hi‐
cles with Blind Spot Assist or Active Blind
Spot Assi st.
Cross Traf fic Alert can warndrivers of any cross‐
ing tra ffic when reve rsing and manoeuvring out
of a parking space. The radar sensors in the
bumper also monitor the area adjacent tothe
ve hicle. If a critical situation is de tected, the 238
