engine
General With
a
displacement
of
3
litres,
the
V8
high-perjformance
engine
generates
a
maximum
power
of
353
kW,
with
Competition
package

kW,
and a
maximum
torque
of
600
Nm.
With
its
spontaj
neous
responsiveness,
a
very
broad
usable
enj
gine
speed
range
is
produced.
The
maximum engine
speed
is
electronically
regulated
at
7200
rpm.
Due
to
the
powerful
engine
dynamics, the
maximum
engine
speed
is
limited
when
the
vehicle
is
stationary.
Driving
hot
During
the
engine
warm-up
phase,
the
high
perj
formance
engine
runs
slightly
more
roughly
due
to
the
emission
control.
Depending
on
the
system,
the
cold
start
is
carj
ried
out
with
an
increased
idle
speed,

makes
the

General
The
high
performance
brake
system
has
ventilaj
ted
compound
brake
discs.
The
specific
design
can
cause
temporary
funcj
tional
noises
to
occur
after
a
long
period
of
low loading.
The
functional
noises
have
no
effect
on
the
effij ciency,
operational
safety
or
endurance
of
the brake.
Braking
correctly To
avoid
functional
noises,
it
is
desirable
to
load
them
at
regular
intervals
with
some
shaper
brakj
ing
operations.
Make
sure
that
the
traffic
situaj
tion
permits
the
braking
operations.
If
the
brake
discs
are
wet,
the
brake
system
can be
braked
dry
to
stop
any
noise.
Drivetrain
In
this
vehicle,
particular
attention
is
paid

the
direct
connection
from
the
engine
to
the
drivej train.
Due

torsionally
stiff
design
of
thedrivetrain,

When

long

steep
downhill stretches,
use

gear
in
which
the
least
brakingis
required.
Otherwise
the
brake
system
canoverheat

effect
