Hill
Descent
Control
HDC
provides
hill
descent assistance

regulates
the
speed
on
steep
inclines,

the

moves

by
the
driver
without
the
brake
pedal having
to
be
pressed.
While
HDC
regulates
the
speed,
the
system

tributes
the
braking
force
automatically
to

Driving
stability
and
steerabilityare

the
anti-lock
brakingsystem
ABS
prevents

wheels
from
locking.

Principle This

the
system
mainjtains
the
desired
speed.
The
vehicle
accelerates
or
brakes
automatically.
If
there
is
a
vehicle
driving
in
front,
the
system
adapts
the
speed
of
your
vehicle
in
order
to
maintain
the
set
distance
from
the
vehicle
ahead.
The
speed
is
adapted
as
far
as
the
given
situaj tion
allows.
General Characteristics
of
Cruise
Control
may
change
incertain
areas
depending
on
vehicle

The
distance
can

set
in
several
stages
and

reasons
