Switching
on/off
using
the
vehicle
key
The
system
can
be
switched
on
and
off
using
the
vehicle
key.
Press
the
vehicle
key
button
three
times
within
1
second.
After
the
vehicle
key
is
pressed,
it
will
take around
3
seconds
for
the
engine
to
switch
on.
To
switch
the
system
off,
press
the
button
again three
times.

The
system
can
be
switched
off
directly:
press the
Start/Stop
button
without
depressing
the
brake
pedal.
Switching
on
via
the
departure
time
General To
ensure
a
pleasant
interior
temperature
in
the
vehicle
at
the
start
of
the
journey,
it
is
possible
to set
scheduled
departure
times
in
the
system.'xOne-off
departure
time:
the
scheduled
deparjture
time
can
be
set.
The
system
is
switched
on
as
a
one-off.'xDeparture
time
with
day
of
the
week:
the scheduled
departure
time
and
day
of
the
week
can
be
set.
Preselection
of
departure
time
is
done
in
two stages:
'xSet
the
departure
times.'xActivate
the
departure
time.
The
system
is
switched
on
around
10
minutes
before
the
set
departure
time
and
remains
on
for
up
to
around
5
minutes
after
the
set
departure time.
At
least
10
minutes
should
pass
between
adjustj
ing/activating
the
departure
time
and
the
schedj
uled
departure
time,
so
the
climate
control
has enough
time
to
work.
For
safety
reasons,
the
system
can
only
be switched
on
once.
The
system
will
be
available
again
once
the
drive-ready
state
has
been
activaj
ted
and
deactivated
again.

Integrated
universal
remotecontrol
Principle
The
universal
remote
control
integrated
in
the
rear-view
mirror
can
be
used
to
operate
up
to
3
functions
of
radio-controlled
systems;
for
exj ample,
garage
door
drives,
barriers
or
lightingsystems.
General
The
integrated
universal
remote
control
replaces
up
to
3
different
hand-held
remotes.
To
use
the
opener,
the
buttons
on
the
rear-view
mirror
must be
programmed
with
the
desired
functions.
Thehand-held
remote
of
the
relevant
system
is
neejded
for
programming.
If
you
sell
the
vehicle,
delete
the
saved
functions
beforehand
for
your
own
security.
If
possible,
do
not
attach
the
aerial
of
the
radio- controlled
system,
for
example
the
garage
door
drive,
near
to
metallic
objects;
this
is
to
ensure optimum
functioning.

trapped

instruction

alternating- code
radio

If
the
radio-controlled
system
cannot
be
operjated
after
repeated
programming,
check
whether
the
system
to
be
operated
is
equipped
with
an
alternating-code
radio
system.
To
do
so,
consult
the
user
manual
of
the
system.
For
systems
with
an
alternating-code
radio
sysj tem,
the
integrated
universal
remote
control
andthe
system
must
also
be
synchronised.
Information
on
synchronisation
can
be
found
inthe
user
manual
of
the
system
you
wish
to
set.
To
make
synchronisation
easier,
enlist
the
assisj
tance
of
a
second
person.
Synchronise
integrated
universal
remote
control
with
system:
1.Park
your
vehicle
within
the
range
of
the
radio
remote-controlled
system.2.Program
the
corresponding
button
on
the rear-view
mirror
as
described.3.Locate
and
press
the
synchronisation
buttonon
the
system
being
set,
for
example
on
the
garage
door.
The
next
step
must
be
carried out
within
approximately
30
seconds.4.Hold
down
the
programmed
button
on
the
rear-view
mirror
for
3
seconds
and
then
rej
lease.
Repeat
this
step
as
needed
up
to
three
times
to
complete
synchronisation.
When synchronisation
is
completed,
the
programjmed
function
is

continuously

the
radio
signal

Deleting
saved
functions
All
saved
functions
are
deleted.
It
is
not
possible to
delete
functions
individually.
Simultaneously
press

hold
the

approximately 10
seconds
until
the
LED
flashes

Principle
The
cigarette
lighter
attachment
can
be
used
as a
socket
for
electrical
devices
when
standby state
or
drive-ready
state
is
switched
on.
General
The
total
load
of
all
sockets
must
not
exceed
140
watts
at
12
volts.
To
avoid
damage
to
the
socket,
do
not
insert
an incompatible
plug.

WARNING
Devices
and
cables,
for
example
portable
navij
gation
devices,
that
are
located
in
the
deployj
ment
range
of
the
airbags
may
impede
airbag
deployment
or
be
thrown
around
the
vehicle
inj
terior
when
the
airbag
is
deployed.
There

Make
sure
that
devices
and
cables
are
not
in
the
deployment
range
of
the
airbags.

Battery
chargers

the
vehicle
battery
