Principle
The
Auto
Start
Stop
function
helps
you
to
save
fuel.
The
system
stops
the
engine
when
stationj
ary,
for
example
in
a
traffic
jam
or
at
traffic
lights. The
drive-ready
state
remains
switched
on.
For
driving
off,
the
engine
starts
automatically.
In
vehicles
with
mild
hybrid
technology,
the
enj
gine
is
already
switched
off
when
rolling
at
low speeds.
