The

program
cools,
ventilates
or
heats
the
car's
interior
automatically.
The
air
distribution
and
temperature
are
control#j
led
automatically
depending
on
the
temperature
in
the
car's
interior
and
the
desired
temperature
setting
including
the
selected
intensity
of
the
air
flow.
Switching
on/off

the

The
LED
is
illuminated
with
the
AUTO
program
switched
on.

Depending
on
the
selected
temperature,
the

tensity

the
AUTO
program,
and
outside

ences,
the
air
is
directed

the

side

upper
body,
and
into
the
floor
area.
The
cooling
function
is
switched
on
automati#j
cally
with
the
AUTO
program.
Point
the
side
vents
toward
the
side
windows.
At
the
same
time,
a
condensation
sensor
con#j
trols
the
program
so
as
to
prevent
window
con#j
densation
as
much
as
possible.
The
AUTO
program
is
switched
off
automati#j
cally,
when
manual
air
distribution
is
set.
Intensity
With
the
AUTO
program
switched
on,
the
inten#j
sity
can
be
adjusted.
This
changes
the
automatic
control
for
the
air
flow
and
air
distribution.
Press
the

upper
side

Concept
The
automatic
recirculated-air
control
AUC
rec#j
ognizes
odors
or
pollutants
in
the
outside
air.
The
outside
air
supply
is
shut
off
and
the
interior
air
is
recirculated.
General
information
If
the
system
is
activated,
a
sensor
detects
pollu#j
tants
in
the
outside
air
and
controls
the
shut-off
automatically.
If
the
system
is
deactivated,
outside
air
continu#j
ously
flows
into
the
car's
interior.
With
constant
recirculated-air
mode,
the
air
qual#j
ity
in
the
car's
interior
deteriorates
and
window
fogging
increases.

Concept
You
may
react
to
unpleasant
odors
or
pollutants
in
the
immediate
environment
by
temporarily
suspending

supply
of
outside
air.
The
system
then
recirculates
the
air
flow
within
the
vehicle.

The

illuminated
when

switched

The
supply
of

side
air
is
shut
off.
When
recirculated-air
mode
is
switched
off,
fresh
air
is
directed
into

To
prevent
window
fogging,
recirculated-air
mode
switches
off
automatically
after
a
certain
amount
of
time,
depending
on
the
environmental

deteriorates
and
window
fogging
increases.
If
there
is
window
condensation,
switch
off
recir#j
culated-air
mode
or
defog
the
windows.

the
air
flow
manually
Concept
The
air
flow
for
climate
control
can
be
adjusted
manually.
General
information
To
adjust
the
air
flow
manually
switch
off
AUTO
program
first.
Operation
Press
the
lower
or
upper
side
of
the
button:
decrease
or
increase
air
flow.
The
selected
air
flow
is
shown
on
the
climate
control
display.
The
air
flow
may
be
reduced
automatically
to
save
battery
power.

window
defroster

Microfilter/activated-charcoal
filter
The
microfilter
removes
dust
and
pollen
from
the
incoming
air.
The
activated-charcoal
filter
also
removes
gas#j
eous
pollutants
from
the
outside
air
that
enters
the
vehicle.
Have
this
combined
filter
changed
during
vehicle
maintenance.
Ventilation
Concept
The
air
flow
directions
can
be
individually

justed.

indirect

vents
and
position
