Disconnecting Bluetooth-connecteddevices
Phones or other devices in the list of registeredBluetooth devices can be removed.
1.Tap Settings in the Top view.
2.Tap CommunicationBluetoothDevices.

Making calls
1. Open the phone tile.
2. Initiate a call by selecting the phone numberfrom the recent calls list, entering the num-ber on the keypad or selecting a numberfrom the phone book (list of contacts). Youcan search or scroll to find a contact in the
phone book. Tap in the phone book toadd a contact to Favorites.
3.Tap to make a call.
4.Tap to end the call.
Calls can also be made from the list of recentcalls using the app menu, which can be opened
using the button on the right-side steeringwheel keypad.
Making multiple calls
While the call is in progress:
1.Tap Add call.
2.Select from the list of recent calls, favoritesor contacts.
3. Tap an item/row in the list of recent calls or
for the contact in the phone book.
4.Tap Swap call to switch between calls.
5.Tap to end the current call.
Group (conference) calls
While multiple calls are in progress:
1.Tap Join calls to merge ongoing calls.
2.Tap to end the call.
Incoming calls
Incoming phone calls will be shown on the instru-ment panel and in the center display. Manage thecalls using the right-side steering wheel keypador the center display.

1. It is possible to reply to text messages orcreate a new message.
To reply to a text message - tap the nameof the contact who sent the message andthen tap Answer.

Cleaning the interior
Only use cleaning agents and car care productsrecommended by Volvo. Clean regularly andtreat stains immediately for best results. It isimportant to vacuum before using a cleaningagent.
CAUTION
Some colored clothing (for example, darkjeans and suede garments) may stain theupholstery. If this occurs, it is important toclean and treat these parts of the uphols-tery as soon as possible.
Never use strong solvents such aswasher fluid, gasoline, mineral spirit orconcentrated alcohol to clean the interioras this can damage the upholstery aswell as other interior materials.
Never spray cleaning agent directly ontocomponents that have electrical buttonsand controls. Wipe instead with a dampcloth with cleaning agent.
Sharp objects and Velcro can damagethe car's textile upholstery.
Only use cleaning agent on the type ofmaterial it is intended for.

Cleaning the center display
Marks, stains, finger smudges etc. on the centerdisplay may affect its performance and readabil-ity. Clean the screen regularly with a microfibercloth.
To clean the center display:
1.Turn off the center display by pressing andholding the Home button.
2. Wipe the screen clean with the microfibercloth provided or use another microfibercloth of similar quality. Wipe the screen witha clean, dry microfiber cloth using small, cir-cular motions. If necessary, moisten the clothslightly.
3. Reactivate the display by pressing the Homebutton briefly.

The microfiber cloth must be free of sand anddirt when cleaning the center display.

When cleaning the center display, apply onlylight pressure to the screen. Pressing toohard could damage the screen.
CAUTION
Do not spray liquid or corrosive chemicalsdirectly onto the center display. Do not usewindow cleaners, cleaning agents, aerosolsprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia or deter-gents that contain abrasives.
Never use abrasive cloths, paper towels or tis-sue paper, as these may scratch the centerdisplay.

Never scrape or rub a stain, as this could damagethe upholstery or ceiling liner. Never use strongstain removers, as this could change the color ofthe upholstery or ceiling liner.
Use soapy water or a similar detergent. For moredifficult stains caused by oil, ice cream, shoe pol-ish, etc., use a stain remover. Consult with yourVolvo retailer.

Inlay mats and floor mats
Remove the inlay mats to clean the floor matsand inlay mats separately. Use a vacuum toremove dust and dirt.
NOTE
Do not swing or strike the inlay mats violentlyagainst another object to remove dirt as thiscould damage the mats.
Each inlay mat is secured into place with pins.
Remove the inlay mat by grasping the inlay matat each pin and lifting the mat straight up.
Put the inlay mat back into place by pressing it inat each pin.

WARNING
Never use more than one inlay mat at atime on the driver's floor. If any other typeof floor mat is used, remove the originalmat from the driver's seat floor beforedriving. All types of mats must be securelyanchored in the attachment points in thefloor. Make sure the floor mat does notimpede the movement of the brake pedalor accelerator pedal in any way, as thiscould be a serious safety hazard.
Volvo's floor mats are specially manufac-tured for your vehicle. They must be prop-erly secured in the attachment points inthe floor to help ensure they cannot slideand become trapped under the pedals.
After vacuuming, a specially designed textilecleaning agent should be used to remove stainson floor mats. Floor mats should be cleaned withproducts recommended by Volvo retailers.

Leather upholstery *
Volvo's leather upholstery is treated to protect itsoriginal appearance. Over time, sunlight, grease,dirt, etc. could break down the protective layer.This could result in scratches and cracking.
Leather upholstery is a natural product thatchanges and acquires a beautiful patina overtime. Regular cleaning and treatments arerequired to preserve the qualities and color of theleather. Volvo offers a comprehensive product,Volvo Leather Care KitWipes, for cleaning andtreating leather upholstery. When used as direc-ted, it helps preserve the leather's protective coa-ting.
For optimal results, Volvo recommends cleaningand applying protective cream one to four times ayear (or more often as needed). Volvo LeatherCare Kit 951 0251 and Volvo Leather Softener943 7429 are available for purchase at Volvoretailers.
