Malfunction
Depending on the vehicle’s equipment:The indicator lamp in this button
flashes.
The button flashes and a fault appears.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop. Detection may be disrupted:
-
i
f the markings on the ground are worn
and do not contrast well with the road
sur face,
-
i
f the windscreen is dirty,
-
i
n certain extreme weather conditions:
fog, heavy rain, snow, shade, bright
sunlight or direct exposure to the sun
(low sun, leaving a tunnel, etc.).
or
Fatigue detection system
Refer to the General recommendations on
the use of driving and manoeuvring aids
.
Take a break as soon as you feel tired or at
least every two hours.
Depending on version, the function comprises
either the "Driver Attention Warning" system
alone or combined with the "Driver Attention
Alert" system.
Activation/Deactivation
Activation or deactivation is done in
the vehicle configuration menu.
Driver Attention Warning
The system triggers an alert as soon
as it detects that the driver has not
taken a break after two hours of
driving at a speed above 40 mph
(65
km/h).
This alert is issued via the display of a
message encouraging you to take a break,
accompanied by an audible signal.
If the driver does not follow this advice, the
alert is repeated hourly until the vehicle is
stopped. The system resets itself if one of the following
conditions is met:
-
e
ngine running, the vehicle has been
stationary for more than 15 minutes,
-
t
he ignition has been switched off for a few
minutes,
-
t
he driver's seat belt is unfastened and their
door is opened.
As soon as the speed of the vehicle drops
below 40 mph (65 km/h), the system goes
into standby.
The driving time is counted again once the
speed is above 40 mph (65 km/h).
Driver Attention Alert
Depending on version, the "Driver Attention
Warning" system is combined with the "Driver
Attention Alert" system.

running.
As soon as possible, go to a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop.
You must inform the technician that this kit
was used. After inspection, the technician
will tell you whether the tyre can be
repaired or if it must be replaced.

(to inflate: switch B in position " I"; to deflate:
switch B
in position " O" and press button

in accordance with the vehicle's tyre
pressure label, located on the driver’s door
aperture.
A significant loss of pressure indicates that
the puncture has not been fully plugged;
contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop for assistance.
F
R
emove the kit and stow it. F
D rive at reduced speed (50 mph
(80
km/h) max.) limiting the distance
travelled to approximately 125
miles
(2 0 0
k m).
It is also possible to use the compressor,
without injecting sealant, to check and, if
necessary, adjust the tyre pressures.
If after 7
minutes this pressure is not
reached, this indicates that the tyre is not
repairable; contact a PEUGEOT dealer or
a qualified workshop for assistance.
Do not drive more than 125 miles (200 km)
with a repaired tyre; contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualified workshop to change
the tyre.
Should the pressure of one or more tyres
be adjusted, it is necessary to reinitialise
the under-inflation detection system.
For more information on Tyre under-
inflation detection , refer to the
corresponding section.Removing the pipe and

Disconnecting the battery
In order to maintain an adequate state
of charge for starting the engine, it is
recommended that the battery be disconnected
if the vehicle is taken out of ser vice for a long
period.
Before disconnecting the battery:
F
c
lose the windows and the doors before
disconnecting the battery,
F
s
witch off all electrical consumers (audio
system, wipers, lighting, etc.).
F
s
witch off the ignition and wait for four
minutes.
At the battery, detach the (+) terminal only.

Disconnecting the (+) terminal Reconnecting the (+) terminal
Do not force the lever as locking will be
impossible if the clamp is not positioned
correctly; start the procedure again.
Following reconnection of the
battery
F Raise the lever A fully to release the clamp B.
F
R
emove the clamp B by lifting it off.
Following reconnection of the battery, turn on
the ignition and wait 1 minute before starting
the engine, in order to enable the electronic
systems to initialise. The Stop & Start system may not be
operational during the trip following the
first engine start.
In this case, the system will only be
available again after a continuous
period of immobilisation of the vehicle,
a period which depends on the exterior
temperature and the state of charge of the
battery (up to about 8 hours).
