The moonroof controls are on the overheadconsole and have a one-touch open andclose feature. To stop its movement duringone-touch operation, press the control asecond time.

Moonroof Open
Press and release to open the moonroof. The moonroof stops short of the fully openedposition. Press and release the control againto open the moonroof fully.
Moonroof Vent
Press and release to vent the moonroof.
Sunshade Open
Press and release to open the sunshade.The sunshade opens with the moonroof. Youcan also open the sunshade with themoonroof closed.
Note:The sunshade stops short of its fullyopened position for the comfort of rearpassengers. To open the sunshade fully,press the control again.
Sunshade Close
Press and release to close the sunshade. Iffully open, the sunshade stops after coveringthe rear glass panel. Press and release againto fully close the sunshade.
Moonroof Close
Press and release to close the moonrooffrom either the open or vent positions.
Bounce-Back
The moonroof reverses some distance if anobstacle is detected while closing.
To override this feature, press and hold themoonroof close control within two secondsafter the roof comes to a stop following abounce-back reversal or two successivereversals.

Located in the bottom of the informationdisplay. Registers the accumulated distanceyour vehicle has traveled.

Fuel Gauge
The fuel gauge indicates about how muchfuel is in the fuel tank.
The arrow adjacent to the fuel pump symbolindicates on which side of your vehicle thefuel filler door is located.
Note:The fuel gauge may vary slightly whenyour vehicle is moving or on a slope.
Low Fuel Reminder
A low fuel level reminder displays andsounds when the distance to empty reaches75 mi (120 km) to empty for MyKey, and at50 mi (80 km), 25 mi (40 km), 10 mi (20 km)and 0 mi (0 km) for all vehicle keys.
Note:The low fuel reminder can appear atdifferent fuel gauge positions depending onfuel economy conditions. This variation isnormal.
Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge
WARNING: Do not remove the coolantreservoir cap when the cooling system is hot.Wait 10 minutes for the cooling system tocool down. Cover the coolant reservoir capwith a thick cloth to prevent the possibilityof scalding and slowly remove the cap.Failure to follow this instruction could resultin personal injury.
Indicates engine coolant temperature. Atnormal operating temperature, the levelindicator will be in the normal range. If theengine coolant temperature exceeds thenormal range, stop the vehicle as soon assafely possible, switch off the engine and letthe engine cool.

WARNING LAMPS AND
INDICATORS
The following warning lamps and indicatorsalert you to a vehicle condition that maybecome serious. Some lamps illuminatewhen you start your vehicle to make surethey work. If any lamps remain on afterstarting your vehicle, refer to the respectivesystem warning lamp for further information.
Note:Some warning indicators appear inthe information display and operate thesame as a warning lamp but do notilluminate when you start your vehicle.
Adaptive Cruise Control Indicator (If
Equipped)
The speed control system indicatorlight changes color to indicatewhat mode the system is in: SeeUsing Adaptive Cruise Control (page 218).
On (white light): Illuminates when theadaptive cruise control system is turned on.Turns off when the speed control system isturned off.
Engaged (green light): Illuminates when theadaptive cruise control system is engaged.Turns off when the speed control system isdisengaged.
Anti-Lock Brake System Warning Lamp
If it illuminates when you aredriving, this indicates amalfunction. You will continue tohave the normal braking system (withoutABS) unless the brake system warning lampis also illuminated. Have the system checkedby your authorized dealer.
Auto Hold Active
It illuminates when the systemholds your vehicle stationary.
Auto Hold Unavailable
It illuminates when the system ison, but unavailable to hold yourvehicle stationary.
Automatic Headlamp High BeamIndicator (If Equipped)
It illuminates when the systemautomatically turns the headlamphigh beam on.

Battery
If it illuminates while driving, itindicates a malfunction. Switch offall unnecessary electricalequipment and have the system checked byyour authorized dealer immediately.
Blind Spot Monitor (If Equipped)
It illuminates when you switch thisfeature off or in conjunction with amessage. See Blind SpotInformation System (page 234). SeeInformation Messages (page 116).

Brake System Warning Lamp
WARNING: Driving your vehicle withthe warning lamp on is dangerous. Asignificant decrease in braking performancemay occur. It may take you longer to stopyour vehicle. Have your vehicle checked assoon as possible. Driving extended distanceswith the parking brake engaged can causebrake failure and the risk of personal injury.
Note:Indicators vary depending on region.
This lamp is a dual function lamp and willilluminate when:
•You apply the parking brake with theignition on.
•Your vehicle has a brake fault or lowbrake fluid level, regardless of parkingbrake position.
If the lamp illuminates while youare moving, you may have theparking brake applied. Be sure thatthe parking brake is off. Have yourvehicle checked as soon aspossible if the lamp continues toilluminate.
Cruise Control Indicator
It illuminates when you switch thesystem on.
See Using Cruise Control (page217).
Direction Indicator
Illuminates when the left or rightturn signal or the hazard warningflasher is turned on. If theindicators stay on or flash faster, check for aburned out bulb. See Changing a Bulb(page 317).
Door Ajar
Displays when the ignition is onand any door is not completelyclosed.
Electric Park Brake
It illuminates or flashes when theelectric parking brake has amalfunction. See Electric ParkingBrake (page 193).
Engine Coolant Temperature WarningLamp
Illuminates when the enginecoolant temperature is high. Stopthe vehicle as soon as possible,switch off the engine and let cool. SeeEngine Coolant Check (page 304).
Engine Oil
It illuminates when you switch theignition on.

If it illuminates when the engine is runningthis indicates a malfunction. Stop yourvehicle as soon as it is safe to do so andswitch the engine off. Check the engine oillevel. If the oil level is sufficient, thisindicates a system malfunction. Have yourvehicle checked as soon as possible.

Fasten Seatbelt Warning Lamp
It illuminates and a chime soundsuntil you fasten the seatbelts.
Front Airbag
If it fails to illuminate when youstart your vehicle, continues toflash or remains on, it indicates amalfunction. Have the system checked byyour authorized dealer.
Heads Up Display (If Equipped)
A red beam of lights will illuminateon the windshield in certaininstances when using adaptivecruise control and/or the collision warningsystem. It will also illuminate momentarilywhen you start your vehicle to make sure thedisplay works.
Headlamp High Beam Indicator
It illuminates when you switch thehigh beam headlamps on. It willflash when you use the headlampflasher.
Hood Ajar
Displays when the ignition is onand the hood is not completelyclosed.
Lane Keeping System Lamp
It illuminates when the systemactivates.
Low Fuel Level Warning Lamp
It illuminates when the fuel level islow or the fuel tank is nearlyempty. Refuel as soon as possible.
Low Tire Pressure Warning Lamp
It illuminates when your tirepressure is low. If the lamp remainson with the engine running orwhen driving, check your tire pressure assoon as possible.
It also illuminates momentarily when youswitch the ignition on to confirm the lamp isfunctional. If it does not illuminate when youswitch the ignition on, or begins to flash atany time, have the system checked by yourauthorized dealer.
Low Washer Fluid Level Warning Lamp
It illuminates when the windshieldwasher fluid is low.

Parking Lamps
It illuminates when you switch theparking lamps on.
Powertrain Fault
Illuminates when a powertrain oran AWD fault has been detected.Contact your authorized dealer assoon as possible.
Service Engine Soon
If it illuminates when the engine isrunning this indicates amalfunction. The On BoardDiagnostics system has detected amalfunction of the vehicle emission controlsystem.
If it flashes, engine misfire may be occurring. Increased exhaust gas temperatures coulddamage the catalytic converter or othervehicle components. Drive in a moderatefashion (avoid heavy acceleration anddeceleration) and have your vehicleimmediately serviced.
It illuminates when you switch the ignitionon prior to engine start to check the bulb andto indicate whether your vehicle is ready forInspection and Maintenance (I/M) testing.
Normally, it illuminates until the engine iscranked and automatically turns off if nomalfunctions are present. However, if after15 seconds it flashes eight times, thisindicates that your vehicle is not ready forInspection and Maintenance (I/M) testing.See Emission Law (page 173).
Stability Control
It flashes when the system isactive. If it remains illuminated ordoes not illuminate when youswitch the ignition on, this indicates amalfunction. During a malfunction the systemwill switch off. Have the system checked byyour authorized dealer immediately. SeeUsing Stability Control (page 199).
Stability Control Off
It illuminates when you switch thesystem off.
Trunk Ajar
Displays when the ignition is onand the trunk is not completelyclosed.
AUDIBLE WARNINGS AND
INDICATORS
Keyless Warning Alert
The horn will sound twice when you exit yourvehicle with the intelligent access key andyour vehicle is in RUN, indicating your vehicleis still on.
Headlamps On Warning Chime
Sounds when you remove the key from theignition and open the driver's door and youhave left the headlamps or parking lampson.

Parking Brake On Warning Chime
Sounds when you have left the parking brakeon and drive your vehicle. If the warningchime remains on after you have releasedthe parking brake, have the system checkedby your authorized dealer immediately.
