Cargo Area Cover
Use the cover to hide items stored in
the cargo area.
The cargo area cover will lift when
the liftgate is opened.
Disconnect the strap (1) from the
holder if you want to return the cover
to the original position. To remove the
cargo area cover completely, lift the
cover to a 50-degree angle and pull it
out (2).Since the cargo area cover may be
damaged or deformed, do not put
luggage on it when it is being
used.
Luggage tray (if equipped)
You can place a first aid kit, a reflec-
tor triangle (front tray), tools, etc. in
the box for easy access.
Grasp the handle on the top of the
cover and lift it.
NOTICE
Do not place objects on the
cargo area cover while driv-
ing. Such objects may be
thrown about inside the vehi-
cle and possibly injure vehicle
occupants during an accident
or when braking.
Never allow anyone to ride in
the luggage compartment. It
is designed for luggage only.
Maintain balance of the vehi-
cle and locate the weight as
far forward as possible.

To increase luggage space
1. Grasp the handle on the top of thecover and pull out the luggage tray
board backwards. 2. Pull out the luggage tray board
completely and remove the lug-
gage tray.(If the luggage tray is
equipped.)
3. Push the luggage tray board for- wards into the lower sliding slot.

Roof Side Rails (if equipped)
If your vehicle comes equipped with
roof side rails, then roof side rails
crossbars can be installed on top of
your vehicle.
The roof side rails crossbars are an
accessory and are available at your
local HYUNDAI dealer.
If the vehicle is equipped with a
sunroof, be sure not to position
cargo onto the roof side rails in
such a way that it could interfere
with sunroof operation. When carrying cargo on the roof
side rails, take the necessary
precautions to make sure the
cargo does not damage the roof
of the vehicle.
When carrying large objects on the roof side rails, make sure
they do not exceed the overall
roof length or width.

The following specification is
the maximum weight that can
be loaded onto the roof side
rails. Distribute the load as
evenly as possible onto the
roof side rails and secure the
load firmly.
Loading cargo or luggage in
excess of the specified weight
limit on the roof side rails may
damage your vehicle.
The vehicle center of gravity
will be higher when items are
loaded onto the roof side
rails. Avoid sudden starts,
braking, sharp turns, abrupt
maneuvers or high speeds
that may result in loss of vehi-
cle control or rollover result-
ing in an accident.
Always drive slowly and turn
corners carefully when carry-
ing items on the roof side rails.
Severe wind updrafts, caused
by passing vehicles or natural
causes, can cause sudden
upward pressure on items
loaded on the roof side rails.
This is especially true when
carrying large, flat items such
as wood panels or mattresses.
This could cause the items to
fall off the roof side rails and
cause damage to your vehicle
or others around you.
To prevent damage or loss of
cargo while driving, check fre-
quently before or while driv-
ing to make sure the items on
the roof side rails are secure-
ly fastened.

You can use an AUX or USB cable to
connect audio devices to the vehicle
AUX or USB port.
Information
When using a portable audio device
connected to the power outlet, noise
may occur during playback. If this
happens, use the portable audio
device's power source.

Antenna
Pole antenna (if equipped)
Your vehicle uses a roof antenna to
receive AM or/and FM broadcast sig-
nals. This antenna pole is removable.
To remove the roof antenna pole,
turn it counterclockwise.
To install the roof antenna pole, turn
it clockwise.

Before entering a place with alow height clearance or a car
wash, remove the antenna pole
by rotating it counterclockwise.
If not, the antenna may be dam-
aged.
When reinstalling your roof antenna, it is important that it is
fully tightened and adjusted to
the upright position to ensure
proper reception.
When cargo is loaded on the roof rack, do not place the cargo
near the antenna pole to ensure
proper reception.
Shark fin antenna (if equipped)
The shark fin antenna receives
transmitted data. (for example:
AM/FM, SXM, GPS, LTE)
Steering Wheel Audio Control
Do not operate multiple audio
remote control buttons simultane-
ously.

VOLUME (VOL + / - ) (1)
Press the VOLUME switch up toincrease volume.
Press the VOLUME switch down to decrease volume.
SEEK/PRESET ( / ) (2)
If the SEEK/PRESET switch is
pressed up or down and held for 0.8
second or more, it will function in the
following modes:
RADIO mode
It will function as the AUTO SEEK
select button. It will SEEK until you
release the button.
MEDIA mode
It will function as the FF/RW button.
If the SEEK/PRESET switch is
pressed up or down, it will function
in the following modes:
RADIO mode
It will function as the PRESET STA-
TION UP/DOWN button.
MEDIA mode
It will function as the TRACK UP/
DOWN button.
MODE (3)
Press the MODE button to toggle
through Radio, SXM, or AUX modes.
MUTE ( ) (4)
Press the MUTE button to mute thesound.
Press the MUTE button again to activate the sound.
