Check the main mirror first before a lane
change, then check the blind spot mirror.

vehicles in its viewing area and the traffic
in the adjacent lane is at a safe distance,
signal that you intend to change lanes.
Glance over your shoulder to verify traffic

To reduce glare, the mirror dims
automatically when it detects bright lights
from behind your vehicle. It automatically
returns to normal reflection when you
select reverse (R) gear to make sure you
have a clear view when backing up.
