Right turn
Lane change to the right (move
the lever partway and release
it)
The right hand signals will flash 3
times.
Lane change to the left (move
the lever partway and release

The left hand signals will flash 3
times.
Left turn
■ Turn signals can be operated when
The engine switch is in the “ON” position (vehicles without smart entry & start
system) or IGNITION ON mode (vehicles with smart entry & start system).
■ If the indicators flash faster than usual
Check that a light bulb in the front or rear turn signal lights has not burned
out.
■ If the turn signals stop flashing before a lane change has been per-
formed
Operate the lever again.
■ Customization
The number of times the turn signals flash during a lane change can be
changed. (Customizable feature P. 629)

Light bulbs
Check the wattage of the light bulb to be replaced. (P. 625)

■Front
You may replace the following bulbs by yourself. The difficulty
level of replacement varies depending on the bulb. As there is a
danger that components may be damaged, we recommend that
replacement is carried out by any authorized Toyota retailer or
Toyota authorized repairer, or any reliable repairer.

Front turn signal light
For the left side only:
Remove the securing clip
and the upper part of the air
cleaner duct (if it is remov-
able).
Turn the bulb base counter-
clockwise.
Remove the light bulb.
When installing the bulb, reverse the steps and in reverse.
For the left side only: Install
the upper part of the air
cleaner duct and the secur-
ing clip by conducting in
reverse.

Open the trunk and remove
the cover.
Turn the bulb base counter-
clockwise.
Remove the light bulb.
When installing, reverse the steps listed.

clockwise.
Remove the light bulb.

■License plate light
Remove the cover.
Insert a flathead screwdriver or
similar into the hole and remove
it as shown in the illustration.
To prevent damaging the vehi-
cle, wrap the flathead screw-
driver with a tape.
Remove the light bulb.
When installing, reverse the steps listed.
■Side turn signal lights
Remove the cover.
Insert the flathead screwdriver
and slide along the side turn sig-
nal light.
To prevent damaging the vehi-
cle, wrap the flathead screw-
driver with a tape.
Press on the 2 clips and
remove the side turn signal
light from the visor housing.
