During fast charging, the vehicle's air
conditioning may start up automatically,
if necessary, to cool the main battery. It
is therefore completely normal to hear
a ventilation noise from the exterior and
to see a puddle of water form under the
vehicle.
Fast charging stops automatically when
the main battery is about 80% charged. It
is possible to achieve a 100% charge by
starting the procedure again. However, the
time required to complete the charge will
be relatively long, as the charging speed
will have slowed down.
The charging warning lamp in the instrument panel
going off indicates that charging is complete.

lose the socket cover, then the access
flap.
As a safety measure, the engine will
not start when the charging cable is
connected to the vehicle's socket.
In addition, any attempt to start during
charging will interrupt the procedure. It will
be necessary to disconnect and reconnect
the charging cable to the vehicle's
socket and then to begin charging again,
following the instructions for use of the
charging point. After recharging, ensure that the socket
cover and access flap are closed.
Take care to avoid allowing water or
dust to enter the socket, under its cover
or in the charging plug (risk of fire or
electrocution).
If the exterior temperature is below 0°C,
charging times may be longer.
If the exterior temperature is below -25°C,
charging may not be possible.
Immobilising the vehicle for a long
period
When your vehicle is to be immobilised
for an indeterminate period, carry out
a complete charge of the main battery
every three months (following the normal
charging procedure).
Before carrying out the charging
operation, ensure that the ancillaries
battery is not disconnected or discharged.

Snow chains
The snow chains must be fitted only to the rear
wheels (rear wheel drive car).
Take account of the legislation in force in
your country on the use of snow chains
and the maximum authorised speed.
Installation tips
F If you have to fit the chains during a journey, stop the vehicle on a flat sur face on the side
of the road.

It is strongly recommended that before
you leave, you practise fitting the snow

A telephone connects automatically,
disconnecting another telephone.Automatic connection overrides manual
connection.Modify the telephone settings to remove
automatic connection.
The iPod is not recognised when connecting to
the USB port. The iPod is of a generation that is not
compatible with the USB.
The hard disk or device is not recognised when
connecting to the USB port. Some hard disks and devices need a power
supply greater than is provided by the audio
system.Connect the device to the 230
V socket, the 12
V socket or an external power supply.
Caution : ensure that the device does not
transmit a voltage greater than 5
V (risk of
destruction of the system).
When streaming, the sound cuts out
m o m e nt a r i l y. Some telephones prioritise connection of the
"hands-free" profile.Delete the "hands-free" connection profile to
improve streaming.
In "Random all" play, not all of the tracks are
played. In "Random all" play, the system can only take
into account up to 999 tracks.
With the engine off, the audio system switches
off after a few minutes of use. When the engine is switched off, the audio
system operating time depends on the battery
charge.
The switch-off is normal: the audio system
switches to economy mode and switches off to
prevent discharging the vehicle's battery.Start the vehicle’s engine to increase the battery
charge.
The message "the audio system is overheated"
appears on the display. In order to protect the installation if the
surrounding temperature is too high, the audio
system switches to an automatic thermal
protection mode leading to a reduction of the
volume or stopping of the playing of the CD.Switch the audio system off for a few minutes to
allow the system to cool.
