Do not ha ve yo ur ve hicle cleaned at an automatic car
wa sh to o frequently and do not use wa sh programs which
fi nish wi th a hot wa x ve hicle treatment. R

su ch as a gl oss preser ve r, e.g. wa x.R

If yo u clean th e camera lens yo urself or spray
gl ass cleaner on th e camera lens, yo u could
damage th e camera lens.

WA RNING Risk of entrapment if th e
windshield wipers are swit ch ed on while
th e windshield is being cleaned
If th e windshield wipers are set in motion
while yo u are cleaning th e windshield or
wiper blades, yo u can be trapped by th e
wiper arm.

Wi per blades
Fo ld out th e wiper blades and clean th em using a damp clo th .D o not clean th e wiper blades to o of te n.
Ex te ri or lighting
Clean th e lenses with a we t sponge and mild de te rg ent, e.g.
car shampoo. Only use cleaning agents or cleaning clo th s th at are suitable
fo r pla st ic lenses.
Sensors
Clean th e sensors in th e front and re ar bumpers and in th e
ra diator grill with a soft clo th and car shampoo. When using a high-pressure wate r jet, maintain a minimum
dis ta nce of 11 .8 in (30 cm).

Use clear wate r and a soft clo th to clean th e camera lens. Do not use a high-pressure wate r jet.
Ta ilpipes
Clean with cleaning agents re commended by Mercedes-Benz,
particular ly in th e winter and af te r wa shing th e ve hicle. Use acid-free cleaning agents.
