tires
Tire traction is not optimal due to manufacturj
ing circumstances when tires are brand-new;
they achieve their full traction potential after a
break-in time.
Drive conservatively for the first
200 miles/300 km.
Retreaded
tires
The manufacturer of your vehicle does not recj
ommend the use of retreaded tires.
WARNING
Retreaded tires can have different tire
casing structures. With advanced age the servj
ice life can be limited. There is a risk of an accij
dent. The manufacturer of your vehicle does not recommend the use of retreaded tires.'

Follow the instructions for continued driving
with a flat tire.

Filling
the
tire
with
sealant
Safety
information DANGER
If the exhaust pipe is blocked or ventilaj
tion is insufficient, harmful exhaust gases can
enter into the vehicle. The exhaust gases conj tain pollutants which are colorless and odorj
less. In enclosed areas, exhaust gases can also
accumulate outside of the vehicle. There is
danger to life. Keep the exhaust pipe free and
ensure sufficient ventilation.'

2.Pull the connection hose fully out of thecompressor housing. Do not kink the hose.3.Screw the connection hose onto the conjnector of the sealant container.4.Insert the sealant container on the comjpressor housing in an upright position.5.Remove the valve cap from the tire valveand screw the filling hose of the sealantcontainer onto the tire valve of the nonj
working wheel.6.With the compressor switched off, insert
the plug into the power socket inside the
vehicle.7.With the ignition switched on or the engine running, switch on the compressor.
Let the compressor run for max. 10 minutes tofill the tire with sealant and achieve a tire inflaj
tion pressure of approx. 2.5 bar.
While the tire is being filled with sealant, the
tire inflation pressure may sporadically reach
approx. 5 bar. Do not switch off the compresj
sor at this point.

If a tire inflation pressure of 2 bar is notreached:1.Switch off the compressor.2.Pull the connector out of the power socketinside the vehicle.3.Unscrew the filling hose from the tire valve.4.Drive 33 ft/10 m forward and back to disjtribute the sealant in the tire.5.Inflate the tire again using the compressor.
If a tire inflation pressure of 2 bar cannot be
reached, contact your dealerss service cenj
ter or another qualified service center or repair shop.
Stowing
the
Mobility
System
1.Unscrew the filling hose of the sealant conj
tainer from the tire valve.2.Pull the compressor connector out of the socket inside the vehicle.3.Unscrew the connection hose of the comjpressor from the sealant container.4.Connect the filling hose of the sealant conj
tainer previously connected to the tire
valve with the available connector on the
sealant container.
This prevents leftover sealant escaping from the sealant container.5.Wrap and store the sealant container insuitable material to avoid dirtying the cargo
area.6.Stow the Mobility System back in the cargo area.
Distributing
the
sealant
Immediately drive approx. 5 miles/10 km to enjsure that the sealant is evenly distributed in thetire.
Do not exceed the permissible maximum
speed of 50 mph/80 km/h.
If possible, do not drive at speeds less than
12 mph/20 km/h.
Correcting
the
tire
inflation
pressure1.Stop at a suitable location.2.Screw the connection hose of the comj pressor directly onto the tire valve stem.3.Insert the connector into the power socket
inside the vehicle.4.Correct the tire inflation pressure to
2.5 bar.'yIncrease tire inflation pressure: with the
ignition switched on or the engine runj
ning, switch on the compressor.'yReduce tire inflation pressure: press
the button on the compressor.
Continuing
the
trip
Do not exceed the maximum permissible
speed of 50 mph/80 km/h.
Reinitialize the run-flat tires.
Reset the Tire Pressure Monitor TPM.
Replace the nonworking tire and the sealant
container of the Mobility System at the next
opportunity.
Snow
chains Fine-link

The manufacturer of your vehicle recommends use of fine-link snow chains. Certain types offine-link snow chains have been tested by the
manufacturer of the vehicle and recommended as road-safe and suitable.
Information regarding suitable snow chains is available from a dealerss service center or anjother qualified service center or repair shop.
Use Use only in pairs on the rear wheels, equippedwith the tires of the following size:

Do not initialize the run-flat tires after mountj
ing snow chains, as doing so may result in inj correct readings.
Do not reset the Tire Pressure Monitor TPM after mounting snow chains, as doing so mayresult in incorrect readings.
When driving with snow chains, briefly activate
Dynamic Traction Control DTC, if needed.
Maximum
speed

Do not exceed a speed of 30 mph/50 km/h when using snow chains.
Changing
wheels/tires General
information
When using run-flat tires or a flat tire kit, a
wheel does not always need to be changed imj mediately when there is a loss of tire inflationpressure due to a flat tire.
If needed, the tools for changing wheels are
available as accessories from a dealerss service
center or another qualified service center or rej pair shop.
Safety
information DANGER
The vehicle jack is only provided for
short-term lifting of the vehicle for wheel
changes. Even if all safety measures are obj
served, there is a risk of the raised vehicle fallj
ing, if the vehicle jack tilts over. There is a risk
of injuries or danger to life. If the vehicle is
raised, do not lie under the vehicle and do not
start the engine.'
