Safety
information
WARNING
Loose objects or devices with a cable connecj tion to the vehicle, for instance mobile phones,can be thrown into the car's interior while drivj
ing, for instance in the event of an accident or
during braking and evasive maneuvers. There is
a risk of injury. Secure loose objects or devices
with a cable connection to the vehicle in the
car's interior.
NOTE
Anti-slip pads such as anti-slip mats can damj
age the dashboard. There is a risk of damage to property. Do not use anti-slip pads.

Opening
Pull the handle.
The light in the glove compartment switches on.
Closing
Fold cover closed.

side

Compartments

Breakable objects, such as glass bottles or glasses, can break in the event of an accident
or a braking or evasive maneuver. Broken glass
can be scattered in the car's interior. There is a
risk of injury or risk of damage to property. Do
not use any breakable objects while driving. Only stow breakable objects in closed storage
compartments.

armrest
Front
A storage compartment is located in the center
armrest between the front seats.

Opening
Pull the lever, arrow 1, and fold the center armjrest up, arrow 2.
Settings
The center armrest can be adjusted in several tilt settings.

console
A storage compartment is located in the center
console.
Cup
holders
Safety
information
WARNING
Unsuitable containers in the cup holder and hot beverages can damage the cup holder and inj crease the risk of injury in the event of an accijdent. There is a risk of injury or risk of damage
to property. Use light-weight, unbreakable, and
sealable containers. Do not transport hot beverj
ages. Do not force objects into the cup holder.
Front
Two cup holders are located under the cover. Rear
NOTE
With an open cup holder, the center armrest
cannot be folded back up. There is a risk of
damage to property. Press back the covers bej fore the center armrest is folded up.

Pull the center armrest forward at the strap.
To open: press the button.
To close: push both covers back in, one after the
other.

Nets
on
the
backrests
of
the
front
seats
The nets on the backrests of the front seats can
also be used to store small parts.
Clothes
hooks
Safety
information
WARNING
Clothing articles on the clothes hooks can obj struct the view while driving. There is a risk of
an accident. When suspending clothing articles from the clothes hooks, ensure that they will
not obstruct the driver's view.

evasive maneuvers. There is a risk of injury and
risk of damage to property. Only hang lightj
weight objects, for instance clothing articles,
from the clothes hooks.

The clothes hooks are located in the grab hanj
dles in the rear.

Side
storage
compartment,
right
A storage compartment is located on the right-
hand side.
Net
for
storage
compartment
Smaller objects can be stored in the net of right
storage compartment.
Multi-function
hook
WARNING
Improper use of the multi-function hooks can
lead to a risk of objects flying about during braking and evasive maneuvers, for example.
There is a risk of injury and risk of damage to property. Only hang lightweight objects,
such as shopping bags, from the multi-function hooks. Only transport heavy luggage in the
cargo area if it has been appropriately secured.
A multi-function hook is located on each side of
the cargo area.
Retaining
strap
A retaining strap is available on the left side trim
for fastening small objects.

Breaking-in
period
General
information Moving parts need to begin working together
smoothly.
The following instructions will help you to achj ieve a long vehicle life and good efficiency.
During break-in, do not use the Launch Control.

Due to new parts and components, safety and driver assistance systems can react with a dej
lay. There is a risk of an accident. After instalj
ling new parts or with a new vehicle, drive conj
servatively and intervene early if necessary.
Observe the break-in procedures of the rej
spective parts and components.
Engine,
transmission,

axle
drive
Up

Avoid full load or kickdown under all circumstanj ces.

The engine and vehicle speed can gradually be increased.
Tires Tire traction is not optimal due to manufacturing
circumstances when tires are brand-new; they achieve their full traction potential after a break-intime.
Drive conservatively for the first
200 miles/300 km.
Brake
system Brake discs and brake pads only reach their full
effectiveness after approx. 300 miles/500 km. Drive moderately during this break-in period.
Following
part
replacement The same break-in procedures should be objserved if any of the components above-menjtioned have to be renewed in the course of the
vehicle's operating life.
