When trouble arises

Indicates that the tire inflation pressure is low
 Check the tire inflation pressure, and adjust to the appropriate level.
Indicates a malfunction in th e tire pressure warning sys- tem
 Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off then on again.If the tire pressure warning indicator flashes for 1
minute then illuminates, th ere is a malfunction in the system. Have the vehicle inspected by any autho-rized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qual-
ified and equipped professional.
Indicates that the tire position information cannot be rec- ognized Drive for a short while and check if the display
updates. If the radio wave conditions improve, the displaymay return to normal. If the tire pressure is still not
displayed after driving for several minutes, stop the vehicle in a safe place, turn the engine switch offthen on again, and start driving.
If the tire pressure is still not displayed even after repeating this process several times, have the vehi-cle inspected by any authorized Lexus dealer or
repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
RC F only
Indicates a malfunction in the active rear wing  Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized Lexus
dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
Indicates that the washer fluid level is low Add washer fluid.

Indicates that remaining fuel is approximately 10 L (2.6 gal., 2.2 Imp. gal.) or less Refuel the vehicle.
RC200t only
Indicates that the engine oil is scheduled to be changed. (The indicator will not work properly unless the message
has been reset.)  Check the engine oil, and change if necessary. After changing the engine oil, the message should
be reset.

Indicates that the fuel in jectors require maintenance
soon  Have any authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional
add injector cleaner to the fuel tank and reset the message as necessary.
RC200t onlyIndicates that the engine oil should be changed. (After
the engine oil is changed and the message has been reset.) Check and change the engine oil, and oil filter by
any authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional. Afterchanging the engine oil, the message should be
reset.

Indicates that the Automatic High Beam switch is
pressed while the headlights are in low beam.  Turn the high beam on and press the Automatic High Beam switch again.

Indicates that, since the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control)system was turned off, the pre-crash brake system oper-ation is stopped
Operation of the pre-crash brake assist is also stopped. Turn the VSC on. (P. 352)

Indicates that the PCS (Pre-Crash Safety system) is not currently functional because the grille cover or the sen-
sor is dirty  Check the grille cover and the sensor and clean
them if they are dirty.
Indicates that operation of large electricity consuming
systems such as the air conditioning system are sus- pended Stop using unnecessary electric components to
reduce electricity consumpt ion. Wait a while until the electric power supply is restored.

■Warning messages
The warning message illustrations used are in tended as examples, and may differ from the image that is actually displaye d on the multi-information display.
■Warning message in radar cruise mode (if equipped)
In the following situations, the warning message may not be displayed even if vehicle-to- vehicle distance decreases:
●When the speed of the preceding vehicle matches or exceeds your vehicle speed
●When the preceding vehicle is traveling at an extremely slow speed
●Immediately after the cruise control speed was set
●When depressing the accelerator pedal
■The LDA (Lane Departure Alert) lane departure warning function (if equipped)
In the following situations, the warning message will not be displayed even if a lane line is crossed.
●When the vehicle speed deviates from the operating range of the LDA system func-tions
●When the lane lines cannot be recognized
■Resetting the message indicating maintenance is required (RC200t)
Make sure to reset the oil change system. ( P. 526)

An attempt was made to lock the
doors using the smart entry & start system while the electronic key wasstill inside the vehicle.
 Retrieve the electronic key from the vehicle and lock thedoors again.
An attempt was made to lock either
door by opening a door and putting the inside lock button into the lockposition, then closing the door by
pulling on the outside door handle with the electronic key still inside thevehicle.
 Retrieve the electronic key from the vehicle and lock thedoors again.
An attempt was made to lock the
doors other than using the smart entry & start system while the elec-tronic key was still inside the vehicle.
 Retrieve the electronic key from the vehicle and lock the
doors again.

The electronic key has a low battery.

Indicates a malfunction in the smart
entry & start system  Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized Lexus dealer or
repairer, or another duly quali- fied and equipped professional.

• When the doors were unlockedwith the mechanical key and thenthe engine swit ch was pressed,
the electronic key could not be detected in the vehicle.• The electronic key could not be
detected in the vehicle even after the engine switch was pressedtwo consecutive times.
 Touch the electronic key to the engine switch while depressingthe brake pedal.
Once
During an engine starting procedurein the event that the electronic key
was not functioning properly ( P. 652), the engine switch was touchedwith the electronic key.
 Press the engine switch within 10 seconds of the buzzer sound-ing.

Indicates that: • With the engine switch off, the
doors were unlocked and then the driver’s door was opened andclosed
• The engine switch was turned to ACCESSORY mode withoutstarting the engine
• The shift lever was shifted to P or N from another position with theengine switch in IGNITION ON
mode.  Press the engine switch while depressing the brake pedal.
