FUEL CONSUMPTION
The fuel consumption figures given in the tables below are determined on the basis of the type-approval tests laid down by
specific European Directives.
IMPORTANT The type of route, traffic conditions, weather conditions, driving style, general condition of the vehicle, trim
level/equipment/accessories, use of the climate control system, vehicle load, presence of roof racks and other situations that
adversely affect the aerodynamics or wind resistance lead to different fuel consumption values than those measured. The
fuel consumption will get more regular only after having driven the first 3000 km.
IMPORTANT For some versions/markets the "ECO" fuel consumption values shown in the following tables are obtained only
using the GoodYear 205/55 R16 91H tyre.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
WARNING
INTERIOR FITTINGS
❒Do not travel with the storage compartments open: they may injure the front seat occupants in the event of an accident.
❒The cigar lighter gets extremely hot. Handle it carefully and make sure that children don’t use it: risk of fire and/or burns.
ROOF RACK/SKI RACK
❒Check that the attachment fixing screws are tight after a few kilometres.
❒Never exceed the maximum permitted loads (see chapter "Technical specifications").
❒Evenly distribute the load and take into account, when driving, the increased responsiveness of the vehicle to side wind.
LAVAZZA 500 ESPRESSO EXPERIENCE SETUP
❒Use the accessory with vehicle stationary.
ACCESSORIES PURCHASED BY THE OWNER
❒Take care when fitting additional spoilers, alloy wheel rims or non-standard wheel hubs: they could reduce the ventilation of the brakes and
affect efficiency under sharp, repeated braking or on long descents. Make sure that nothing obstructs the pedal stroke (mats, etc.).
INTERIORS
❒Never use flammable products, such as petroleum ether or modified petrol, to clean the inside of the car. The electrostatic charges which
are generated by rubbing during the cleaning operation may cause a fire.
❒Do not keep aerosol cans in the vehicle: danger of explosion. Aerosol cans must not be exposed to a temperature exceeding 50°C. When
the vehicle is exposed to sunlight, the internal temperature can greatly exceed this value.
❒There must be no obstacles on the floor underneath the pedals; make sure that mats are always flat and do not interfere with the pedals.
SUPPLY
❒Modifications or repairs to the fuel supply system that are not carried out correctly or do not take the system’s technical specifications into
account can cause malfunctions leading to the risk of fire.
WARNING
ROOF RACK/SKI RACK
❒Fully comply with the regulations in force concerning maximum clearance.
LAVAZZA 500 ESPRESSO EXPERIENCE SETUP
❒Use the accessory with engine on, in order to protect the battery charge. If several devices absorbing a high amount of current (e.g.
activation of climate control unit or heated rear window defrosting) are used simultaneously, the accessory could fail to operate.
WIRING FOR RADIO SYSTEM
❒For connection to the radio system set-up, contact a Fiat Dealership to prevent any problem that could impair vehicle safety.
INTERIORS
❒Never use alcohol, petrols and derivatives to clean the dashboard and instrument panel lens.
