Your vehicle has been approved in accordance with the latest ISOFIX regulations.
The
seats, represented below, are fitted with
r
egulation
I
SOFIX
m
ountings:
"ISOFIX" mountings
- two rings A, located between the vehicle s
eat back and cushion, indicated by a
m
arking, To
secure the child seat to the TOP TETHER:
-
p
ass the child seat strap over the centre of
t
he vehicle's seat backrest,
-
r
aise the TOP TETHER,
-
s
ecure the upper strap fixing to the ring B,
-
t
ighten the upper strap.
Observe strictly the fitting instructions
p
rovided with the child seat.
For information on the possibilities for fitting
I
SOFIX child seats to your vehicle, refer to the
t

a
ring B
, located under a cover on the back
o
f the top of the seat backrest, referred to as
t
he
TOP TETHER for fixing the upper strap.
I
ts position is indicated by a marking.
The ISOFIX mountings are three rings for each seat:
The TOP TETHER is used to secure the upper s
trap of child seats that have one. This device
l
imits for ward tipping of the child seat, in the
e
vent of a front impact.
This
ISOFIX mounting system ensures fast,
r
eliable and safe fitting of the child seat in your
v
ehicle.
The ISOFIX child seats
are fitted with
t
wo latches which are secured easily on the
t
wo rings A.
Some
also have an upper strap (or top tether)
w
hich is attached to ring B. When
installing an ISOFIX child seat on the
r
ight hand rear seat, before securing the seat,
f
irst move the centre rear seat belt towards the
m
iddle of the vehicle, so as to not inter fere with
t
he operation of the seat belt.
The incorrect installation of a child seat i
n a vehicle compromises the child's
p
rotection in the event of an accident.
