This message displays when amalfunction is present in theMagnetic Ride Control system. Thevehicle speed will be limited to avalue determined by the vehiclewhen the shock absorber systemhas failed and the shocks are intheir full soft mode. Have the vehicleserviced as soon as possible.
Washer Fluid Messages

Window Messages

Vehicle
Personalization
Use the audio system controls toaccess the personalization menusfor customizing vehicle features.
The following are all possiblepersonalization features. Dependingon the vehicle, some may not beavailable.
HOME :Press to display the HomePage screen.
TUNE/MENU :Press to entermenus and select menu items. Turnto scroll through the menus.
/BACK :Press to exit or movebackward in a menu.
Entering the PersonalizationMenus
The ignition must be in the ONposition.
1. Press HOME.
2. Select the Config screenbutton.
3. Turn the TUNE/MENU knob tohighlight the desired setting.

Auto Volume
When selected, this feature willautomatically adjust the volume tominimize the effects of unwantedbackground noise that can resultfrom changing road surfaces, drivingspeeds, or open windows. Thisfeature works best at lower volumesettings where background noise istypically louder than the soundsystem volume.
Select Off, Low, Medium, or High.

Select to improve voice recognitionand media groupings.

XM Channel Art
When on, the radio willautomatically update the XM screenand background graphics.

XM Categories
Select or deselect any category tobe used in XM mode.
Software Version Menu
Select to display information aboutthe system and software.

Remote Start Auto Cool Seat
When on and it is hot outside, theventilated seats will turn onautomatically.
Select to turn on or off.
Remote Start Auto Heat Seat
When on and it is cold outside, theheated seats will turn onautomatically.

Select to turn this feature on or off.
Reverse Tilt Mirror
This allows the feature to be turnedon or off.

Select to turn this feature on or off.When on, the turn signals flash andthe headlamps and back-up lamps
will turn on whenKis pressed on
the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)transmitter when it is dark outside.
Exit Lighting
This allows the selection of howlong the exterior lamps stay onwhen leaving the vehicle when it isdark outside.
Select Off, 30 Seconds, 1 Minute,or 2 Minutes.
Power Door Locks
Select and the following maydisplay:
.Open Door Anti Lock Out
.Auto Door Unlock

Open Door Anti Lock Out
When on, this feature will keep thedriver door from locking when thedoor is open. If off, the DelayedDoor Lock menu will be available.
Select On or Off.
Auto Door Unlock
This allows the selection of whichdoors will automatically unlock whenthe vehicle is shifted into P (Park)and for a manual transmission whenthe ignition is turned off.
Select All Doors, Driver Door, or Off.
Delayed Door Lock
When on, this feature will delay thelocking of the doors. To override thedelay, press the power door lockswitch on the door.
Select On or Off.
Remote Lock/Unlock/Start
Select and the following maydisplay:

This allows the selection of whattype of feedback is given whenlocking the vehicle with the RemoteKeyless Entry (RKE) transmitter.
Select Lights and Horn, Lights Only,Horn Only, or Off.
Remote Door Unlock
This allows the selection of which
doors will unlock when pressingK
on the RKE transmitter.
Select Driver Door or All Doors.When set to Driver Door, the driver
door will unlock the first timeKis
pressed and all doors will unlock
whenKis pressed a second time.
When set to All Doors, all of thedoors will unlock with the first press
ofK.

Passive Door Unlock
This allows the selection of whatdoors will unlock when using thebutton on the driver door to unlockthe vehicle.
Select All Doors or DriverDoor Only.
Passive Door Lock
This allows passive locking to beturned on or off and selectsfeedback. SeeRemote KeylessEntry (RKE) System Operation025.
Select On with Horn Chirp, On,or Off.
Remote Left in Veh. Reminder
Select to turn this feature on or off.This feature sounds an alert whenthe RKE transmitter is left in thevehicle.
Return to Factory Settings?
Select to return all vehiclepersonalization to the defaultsettings.
Select Yes or No.

Exterior Lighting
Exterior Lamp Controls
The exterior lamp control is on theinstrument panel to the left of thesteering wheel.
There are four positions:
O:Briefly turn to this position toturn the automatic light control off oron again.
AUTO :Automatic operation of theheadlamps at normal brightness andother exterior lamps.
;:Turns on the parking lampsincluding all lamps, except theheadlamps.
5:Turns on the headlampstogether with the parking lamps.
Headlamp High/
Low-Beam Changer
The headlamps must be on for thisfeature to work.
Push the turn signal lever awayfrom you to turn the high beams on.
The3indicator light turns on in the
instrument cluster when thehigh-beam headlamps are on.
Push the lever away from you toreturn to low beams.
Flash-to-Pass
To f l a s h t h e h i g h b e a m s , p u l l t h elever toward you. The lamps remainon high beam as long as the leveris held.

Daytime Running
Lamps (DRL)
The vehicle has DRL that illuminateat full intensity when the followingoccur:
.During daylight conditions.
.The engine is running.
If the lamp control is turned to;
or5the DRL will illuminate at
reduced intensity.
Automatic Headlamp
System
When it is dark enough outside andthe exterior lamp control is in theautomatic position, the headlampsand parking lamps will turn on andoff automatically. SeeExterior LampControls0126.
There is a light sensor on top of theinstrument panel. Do not cover thesensor; otherwise the headlampswill come on when they are notneeded.
The system may also turn on theheadlamps when driving through aparking garage or tunnel.
When it is bright enough outside,the headlamps turn off.
The automatic headlamp systemturns off when the exterior lamp
control is turned toPor the ignition
is off.
The automatic headlamp systemdefaults to on with each ignitioncycle.
Hazard Warning Flashers
|:Press this button on the centerstack near the audio system, tomake the front and rear turn signallamps flash on and off. Press againto turn the flashers off.
