Interior Mirror
Adjustment
Adjust the mirror for a clear view ofthe area behind the vehicle.
Manual Dimming Rearview Mirror
If equipped, push the tab forward fordaytime use and pull it rearward fornighttime use to avoid the glare ofheadlamps from behind.
Automatic Dimming RearviewMirror
If equipped, the rearview mirrordims automatically to reduce theglare of the headlamps from behind.The dimming feature comes onwhen the vehicle is started.
Steering Wheel
Adjustment
To a d j u s t t h e s t e e r i n g w h e e l :
1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel upor down.
3. Pull the lever up to lock thesteering wheel in place.
Tilt and Telescoping SteeringWheel
To a d j u s t t h e t i l t a n d t e l e s c o p i n gsteering wheel, if equipped:
1. Pull the lever down.
2. Move the steering wheel upor down.
3. Pull or push the steering wheelcloser or away from you.
4. Pull the lever up to lock thesteering wheel in place.
Do not adjust the steering wheelwhile driving.

function with the keys in the

ignition key.

Using hood-mounted air deflectorsand add-on convex mirrorattachments could decrease mirrorperformance.
Power Mirrors
If equipped, adjust the powermirrors:
1. Move the selector switch to L(Left) or R (Right) to choosedriver or passenger mirror.
2. Press the arrows on the controlpad to move each mirror in thedesired direction.
3. Return the selector switch tothe center position.
Folding Mirrors
Manual Folding Mirrors
The mirrors can be folded inwardtoward the vehicle to preventdamage when going through anautomatic car wash. Push the mirroroutward to return it to the originalposition.
Heated Mirrors
If equipped, the rear windowdefogger also heats the outsidemirrors.

Blind Spot Mirrors
The blind spot mirror is a smallconvex mirror built into the upperand outer corner of the driveroutside mirror. It can show objectsthat may be in the vehicle'sblind zone.

1. When the approaching vehicleis a long distance away, theimage in the main mirror issmall and near the inboardedge of the mirror.
2. As the vehicle gets closer, theimage in the main mirror getslarger and moves outboard.
3. As the vehicle enters the blindzone, the image transitionsfrom the main mirror to theblind spot mirror.
4. When the vehicle is in the blindzone, the image only appearsin the blind spot mirror.
Using the Outside Mirror with
the Blind Spot Mirror
1. Set the main mirror so that theside of the vehicle can just beseen and the blind spot mirrorhas an unobstructed view.
2. When checking for traffic orbefore changing a lane, look atthe main driver/passenger sidemirror to observe traffic in theadjacent lane, behind yourvehicle. Check the blind spotmirror for a vehicle in the blindzone. Then, glance over yourshoulder to double checkbefore moving slowly into theadjacent lane.

Do not spray glass cleaner directlyon the mirror. Use a soft toweldampened with water.

Automatic Dimming
Rearview Mirror
If equipped, the mirror willautomatically reduce the glare of theheadlamps from behind. Thedimming feature comes on eachtime the vehicle is started.
Windows
{Warning
Never leave a child, a helpless
adult, or a pet alone in a vehicle,
especially with the windows
closed in warm or hot weather.
They can be overcome by the
extreme heat and suffer
permanent injuries or even death
from heat stroke.
The vehicle aerodynamics aredesigned to improve fuel economyperformance. This may result in a
pulsing sound when either rearwindow is down and the frontwindows are up. To reduce thesound, open either a front windowor the sunroof, if equipped.
Power Windows
{Warning
Children could be seriously
injured or killed if caught in the
path of a closing window. Never
leave keys in a vehicle with
children. When there are children
in the rear seat, use the window
lockout button to prevent
operation of the windows. See

or ice, or if the windshield is
damaged. It may also not detect a
vehicle on winding or hilly roads,
or in conditions that can limit
visibility such as fog, rain,
or snow, or if the headlamps or
windshield are not cleaned or in
proper condition. Keep the
windshield, headlamps, and FCA
sensors clean and in good repair.
Collision Alert
When your vehicle approachesanother detected vehicle too rapidly,the red lights will flash on thewindshield. Also, eight rapidhigh-pitched beeps will sound fromthe front. When this Collision Alertoccurs, the brake system mayprepare for driver braking to occur
more rapidly which can cause abrief, mild deceleration. Continue toapply the brake pedal as needed.Cruise control may be disengagedwhen the Collision Alert occurs.
Tailgating Alert
The vehicle ahead indicator willdisplay amber when you arefollowing a detected vehicle aheadmuch too closely.
Selecting the Alert Timing
The Collision Alert control is on the
steering wheel. Press[to set the
FCA timing to Far, Medium, Near,or Off. The first button press showsthe current setting on the DIC.Additional button presses willchange this setting. The chosensetting will remain until it is changedand will affect the timing of both theCollision Alert and the TailgatingAlert features. The timing of both
alerts will vary based on vehiclespeed. The faster the vehicle speed,the farther away the alert will occur.Consider traffic and weatherconditions when selecting the alerttiming. The range of selectable alerttiming may not be appropriate for alldrivers and driving conditions.
Unnecessary Alerts
FCA may provide unnecessaryalerts for turning vehicles, vehiclesin other lanes, objects that are notvehicles, or shadows. These alertsare normal operation and thevehicle does not need service.
Cleaning the System
If the FCA system does not seem tooperate properly, cleaning theoutside of the windshield in front ofthe rearview mirror, and cleaning theheadlamps, may correct the issue.
Lane Departure
Warning (LDW)
If equipped, LDW may help avoidcrashes due to unintentional lanedepartures. It may provide an alert if

the vehicle is crossing a lanemarking without using a turn signalin that direction. LDW uses acamera sensor to detect the lanemarkings at speeds of 56 km/h(35 mph) or greater.
{Warning
The LDW system does not steer
the vehicle. The LDW system
may not:
.Provide enough time toavoid a crash.
.Detect lane markings underpoor weather or visibilityconditions. This can occur ifthe windshield orheadlamps are blocked bydirt, snow, or ice; if they arenot in proper condition; or ifthe sun shines directly intothe camera.
.Detect road edges.
.Detect lanes on winding orhilly roads.

If LDW only detects lane
markings on one side of the road,
it will only warn you when
departing the lane on the side
where it has detected a lane
marking. Always keep your
attention on the road and
maintain proper vehicle position
within the lane, or vehicle
damage, injury, or death could
occur. Always keep the
windshield, headlamps, and
camera sensors clean and in
good repair. Do not use LDW in
bad weather conditions.
How the System Works
The LDW camera sensor is on thewindshield ahead of the rearviewmirror.
To t u r n L D W o n a n d o f f , p r e s s@on
the center stack. The controlindicator will light when LDW is on.
When LDW is on,@is green if
LDW is available to warn of a lanedeparture. If the vehicle crosses adetected lane marking without using
the turn signal in that direction,@
changes to amber and flashes.Additionally, there will be threebeeps on the right or left, dependingon the lane departure direction.
When the System Does Not
Seem to Work Properly
The system may not detect lanes aswell when there are:
.Close vehicles ahead.
.Sudden lighting changes, suchas when driving through tunnels.
.Banked roads.
If the LDW system is not functioningproperly when lane markings areclearly visible, cleaning thewindshield may help.
