A mobile audio device, e.g., a MP3 player, can
be connected using the AUX-IN port.

information
Depending on the equipment, the USB interj
face is located in the center console or in the glove compartment.

Mobile storage devices with USB port can be
connected to the USB interface in the glove
compartment.
Common file systems are supported. FAT32 and exFAT are the recommended formats.
The following applications are possible:'yExporting and importing profiles, refer to
page 43.'yLoading of software updates.'yAdding music files to the music collection
and saving the music collection.

In addition to the USB storage devices descrijbed above, additional mobile devices with USB
port can be connected to the USB interface in
the center console.

The snap-in adapter features a separate USB port that is automatically connected
when a compatible mobile phone is inj

Overview
The USB interface and the AUX-IN port are loj cated in the center armrest.
The USB interface is located in the glove comjpartment.
Connecting
an
external
device
Observe the following when connecting:
'yDo not use force when plugging the conj nector into the USB interface.'yUse a flexible adapter cable.'yProtect the USB storage device againstmechanical damage.'yDue to the large number of USB mediaavailable on the market, it cannot be guarj
anteed that every device is operable on the
vehicle.'yDo not expose USB media to extreme envij
ronmental conditions, such as very hightemperatures; refer to the device owner's manual.'yDue to the many different compressiontechniques, proper playback of the media
stored on the USB storage device cannot
be guaranteed in all cases.'yA connected USB storage device will be
supplied with charging current via the USB interface if the device supports this.'yTo ensure proper transmission of thestored data, do not charge a USB storage
device via the onboard socket, when it is
connected to the USB interface.'yDepending on how the USB storage device should be used, settings may be required
on the USB storage device, refer to the dej
vice owner's manual.

'yUSB hard drives.'yUSB hubs.'yUSB memory card readers with multiple inj

The cargo cover is in two parts.
This can be removed to load bulky luggage.

window1.Pull the cargo cover with both hands by the
outer edges towards the rear, arrows 1, to
disengage it from the catches.2.Push the cargo cover upwards, arrow 2,
and remove it.

Push the cargo cover upwards, arrow 1, until it
disengages from the catches and then pull it towards the front, arrow 2.
Installing Proceed in the reverse order to reinstall. The
cargo covers must snap audibly into place on their respective holders.
Enlarging
the
cargo
area
General
information
The cargo area can be enlarged by folding
down the rear seat backrest.
The rear seat backrest is divided at a ratio of
40m20m40. The sides and the middle section
can be folded down separately.
Safety
information WARNING
Danger of jamming with folding down the
backrests. There is a risk of injury or risk of property damage. Make sure that the area ofmovement of the rear backrest and the of thehead restraint is clear prior to folding down.'

Fold down the center armrest and pull on the loop.
Ski
and
snowboard
bag The ski and snowboard bag is contained in a
protective jacket in the cargo area.
Follow the installation and owner's manual inj cluded in the protective jacket.

LockingThe glove compartment can be locked with an
integrated key. This prevents access to the glove compartment.
After the glove compartment is locked, the rej
mote control can be handed over, such as at a
hotel, without the integrated key.

Breakable objects, e.g., glass bottles, can
break in the event of an accident. Broken glass
can be scattered in the vehicle's interior. There
is a risk of injury. Do not stow any breakable objects in the vehicle's interior.'

Pull the center armrest forward at the strap.
To open: press the button.
To close: push both covers back in, one after
the other.
NOTE
With an open cup holder, the center armj
rest cannot be folded back up. There is a risk
of property damage. Press back the covers bej
fore the center armrest is folded up.'

Net
Smaller objects can be stored in the net on the
left side of the cargo area.

To secure the cargo, refer to page 185, there
are lashing eyes in the cargo area.

Reversible
floor
panel
The bottom of the cargo floor panel is coated
with a water- and dirt-resistant finish.
Fold the cargo floor panel up, remove and turn
it over.
Cargo
net,
FlexNetTo secure the cargo, refer to page 185, the
flexible cargo net can also be used.
